Mørkgonga and Gyhrihaugen | Ringerike | Oslo Daytrip

Mørkgonga is a rock formation above the Tyrifjordideal ideal for a daytrip from Oslo . It’s basically a trench within a cliff and there is a very steep path straight in it. And above Mørkgonga you will find Gyhrihaugen from where you will have an incredible view over the region.

I was there in 2015, but I had forgotten how steep it was. I was very slow carrying all gear up.

Yes, people usually camp around Migatjern, which you can see at 3:20. Otherwise there are camping around Sundvollen, if you are looking for regular camping sites with facilities.
