If you weren't a young teenager in 1983 you can't imagine how cool this was when it came out. And this is a fact that people forget...not really too long before this was released, less than 10 years, this guitar sound wasn't even a thing Just the gain and distortion sound of these guitars blew me away at the time.

Well it is the final half minute without the main vocal of Vic that blows my mind. If u notice group singing fading away while background riffs increasing guitar tension and shifting. When Vic stops singing only the full background group vocal dominates while its fading, the guitar in the back starts to go wild and the bass suddenly changes pitch like none previous during song.

First two albums are masterpieces. As a kid I used to think Mick Mars was some sort of guitar virtuoso. When I picked up the guitar and learned a few licks I realized that his style or ability was nothing out of this world, yet it suited perfectly with the music. Perfect tone, melodic rhythms and powerful riffs make Motley Crue's music timeless.

@robertrodriguez5804
@robertrodriguez5804 4 жыл бұрын
@@michaelm1546 this is 1983, don't know where you were that year but Quiet Riot were on top of the billboard, definitely not Slade, so I did get the band right. Don't get me wrong, I love the original by Slade that came out in 1973, unfortunately for them it wasn't big especially in America. Quiet Riot rocked it up and at the time they made rock n roll history ,so I am very fond of the song because of what it accomplished in 83, it brings me great memories of that year. QR took this great song to the next level just like Jimi Hendrix did All Along The Watchtower. People think of Jimi's version not Bob Dylan's.
