Para mí el mejor guitarrista que a tenido Megadeth ,querido Martí yo estuve en el concierto del 96. en buenos aires, yo era una adolescente de 16 años y me volví su admiradora por como toca y su hermosa cabellera! Es ud fantástico y muy guapo ! Admiro y me interesa mucho ese hermoso país ,ya que mi banda favorita Nemophila es de ahí. Esta banda me conquistó primero por la extraordinaria baterista Tamu-San, después por Mayu y ahora por todas! Caí rendida por la banda! Sr Martí esta hermosa banda será grande sin duda alguna, solo es cuestión de tiempo, Mayu no es cualquier cantante ,nació con una privilegiada voz para el metal y encima tiene un enorme simpatía y carisma! Agree with Marty. As a nature of Japanese, the English pronunciation will be long live headache. Instead of trying to improve, we have to establish our own English. If the native point out the wrong pronunciation, simply say ‘so what? You should guess what I say!!’ No need to hesitate.

I disagree, if you're gonna sing in another language you should make the effort of pronouncing things right, you can't just make up a language or else no one will understand what you're saying

@@salva0922 Mh.. then should we keep quiet in English world? Ideally, we want to follow the same pronunciation, but it’s hard for us to master the difference between L and R for instance. Basically, Japanese language consists of the combination of vowels and nouns for each letter and we have been used to that. If you as native do not accept the wrong pronunciation by Japanese, we tend to think ‘ we should not speak in English.’ Appreciate to your tolerance to accept the different accents by different people. We, Japanese, accept strange accents by foreigners Japanese pronunciation.

What is being said is that the ways that Japanese people speak English, which can be modelled and are highly predictive and heavily influenced by first language, needs to be consolidated into something officially recognised as "Japanese English", just as there are many other officially recognised world Englishes. This is a necessary step in legitimising a world Englishes. It's not about creating a language that no one else can understand. It's about legitimising the patterns of usage, pronunciation, grammar and so on that are typical of a particular group of English speakers. By validating the existence of something called Japanese English, speakers can get away from the oppressive influence of English native-speakerism. This is especially important when the vast majority of English speakers in the world don't communicate on a regular basis with native English speakers. In other words, native-speakerism via native-speaker norms is largely irrelevant to the vast majority of English usage in the world. And this is why the legitimisation of various world Englishes is essential.

What do you think? To those lamenting the lack of English subtitles in this video (which is a late-night TV show produced in Tokyo), consider how many English-language videos offer Japanese subtitles. Or Mandarin. Or Spanish. Or Portuguese. What would you say to complaints from viewers in Japan, China, Spain, Mexico, South America, Mexico, Portugal, Brazil, etc.? I think we’re just lucky to be able to summon this video instantly for our viewing pleasure.

While of course I respect the Japanese language and culture. Adding subtitles to the largest market and language in the world isn't hard to do. Especially when you already have English speakers working for the show.

Similar to the foreigner’s Japanese learning, the pronunciation for other language is very difficult. However, we can still communicate if we keep on the communication. Japanese must speak our own English even if it sounds strange to the natives.

@@5Melig Mandarin is not spoken all over the world. As for fans.. That is part of the point. By adding translation it would open the door to more fans. But the main thing is that you have Marty and Kenny who speak English. With both of them part of the show, it is easier to get proper translation. Also Shelly who was on the original show is half American and speaks perfect English. She now has her own channel and does the same thing, by not adding subtitles. But it has been the Japanese way for being a closed society so that may play into it, by being reluctant to reach out.
