@@VexdGamer *For Ranged Stealth go for the: -Tempus Marksman -300. Black Out rounds -Monolithic Suppressor -Commando Foregrip The last attachment is up to you, if you don't mind iron sights put on FMJ or Frangible Wounding, FMJ is a good option because of the black out rounds so they won't see where you are shooting from. Frangible Wounding is also a good choice because players try to hide if they cannot find you, and the wounding stops them from healing allowing you to kill them as they wait to heal or get an easy assist from a teammate. *You can also try the Rushing Stealth class which I use a lot in 3 flag Dom. Matches -Tempus Mini Barrel -M-13 Skeleton Stock -Stippled Griptape -Tac laser, or 300. Black Out ronuds (optional Tac Laser: I use this when I really want to run in gun, mounting and among around corners with this will definitely get you killed, because enemy players see green laser sights when you aim) -Any Suppressor, X-Ace already made a video explaing that all Suppressors have the same sound Suppresion, so the suppressor you use is up to you, I wouldn't recommend the Monolithic suppressor because of the aim down sight time increase, and the light weight suppressor does lower the range of the weapon, but if you use it as a rush class this should not be a problem, I did use the lightweight suppressor before but the Tactical suppressor in my opinion IS superior. * For perks Blue slot' -Cold blooded Or Scavenger +Over kill if you want another weapon Red Slot' -Ghost or Restock Yellow Slot' -Shrapnel, and {can't remember name} the perk that decrease feild upgrade time by 30% *For lethal and tactical equipment - Smoke grenades can save you in literally any situation (unless they have a thermal sight) you can throw it in a doorway and flank, you can throw it at your feet and revive for Spec-ops and cyber attack, or you can cloud your enemies and blast them with explosives -Molotovs can be used to trap enemies or for slowing them down (just know that Modern Warfare is secretly a parkour game with guns) -Semtex grenades are, in my opinion the best to pair with smoke grenades, you can either cloud them or yourself and just throw a semtex at them. -"Extra Stuff" Players like to lay down and wait for smoke to clear so you can activate the dead silence field upgrade and flank for either easy executions or easy grenade kills *For Field UpGrades -Use Dead Silence If your using ranged stealth or rushing stealth -Use Tactical Insertion if your using rushing stealth -Use Trophy Systems with Ranged Stealth - or if you find yourself running out of ammo use a Munitions Crate *For a Secondary I personally use the X16 pistol it's fast and reliable and with good accuracy it can be a 3 shot kill (I unlocked the X16 blueprint by completing the missions for what i believe is the 2nd or 3rd challenge {I can't remember} and leveled it up from there) +My X16 attachments are: -Flash gaurd/hider for muzzle -Tac or 5mw Laser or G.I. Sight -17 round mag -Frangible Wounding - and the Singaurd barrel (first barrel unlocked) This can also be substituted with the first trigger action unlocked which greatly increases your fire rate. That's it Good luck and good killing

Well I honestly think that that would cause a lot of difficulty with the game and customization options because it would be balanced to always have that one ammo type sitting in one of your slots. But thinking about the actual rounds it's a great concept but there are ALOT of rifle in this game with conversation kits

They're apples and oranges, to be honest. 300BLK hits harder at close ranges and has superior barrier penetration because of heavier bullet, but it sheds velocity very fast, losing a lot of effectiveness on soft tissue (projectiles hitting soft tissue at 2200+ fps have a vastly different effect on permanent cavity than slower ones). 5.56NATO, on the other hand, will have less energy at the muzzle (especially with shorter barrel), but they retain energy better downrange. So without getting too technical about real world external and terminal ballistics, cavitation, barrier penetration etc. It would kinda make sense if 300BLK had more damage at the muzzle, but lost damage faster with distance.

Also, the 300BLK was designed to limit over-penetration through material, so that if you're shooting someone in front of you, you're not also shooting your neighbor grabbing a beer in the fridge. So having it hit harder a close range + lowering penetration through walls would make for an interesting alternative to standard ammunition.

@@DoktorSammich that's why I said bf4 at launch... because they dropped the damage model from 25 damage to 24.5 damage per shot. And they had about the same drop off as CoD does. At about 25-35 meters ARs started taking 1 more bullet to kill and at about 10-15 meters SMGs started taking one extra bullet to kill, whereas carbines were in-between and LMGs were the same as ARs on average. Also, you were a pro? In Battlefield? O_O I'm no pro, but I did pretty well and when I used to play every day I got dozens of games with 100+ kills, but I've been playing since BF1942. The problem is that my aim drops off when I don't play shooters on a regular or semi-regular basis.

@@rattlehead999 BF has a lot more nuance: movement accuracy penalties, a linear damage drop off rather than stepwise, plus muzzle velocities were a bit lower than lifelike and more spread out, so that ranged effectiveness ran a spectrum. Though the BF3 M4 and MW M4 are pretty comparable in their effectiveness, at least Battlefield devs thought ahead with their map design to make their weapon sandbox useful (mostly) across the board. Maybe that's the benefit of having a lot of practice in designing big multiplayer sandboxes. Call of Duty worked best when it kept it simple, predictable maps and hitscan weapons. If anything, it was more competitive and authentic to its own brand of MP fun than MW is now. Two cents and all.

I’ve used the m13 alot but it kind of falls in between this “not an smg” and “not really an AR” category. In an equal gunfight vs a decent player, it will get destroyed by most ARs at range and most smgs up close.

On shoot house you'll constantly lose gunfights to MP5s, even if you shoot first, at medium range you'll lose to every other AR, and at long range you get enough ammo to kill 3 people even with .300 blackout and the longest barrel with a monolothic suppressor. It's shockingly bad at long range.

At a range where another AR is at a 4 shot kill you should never lose to them if you hit them first, provided you can aim, due to the fire rate. The gun is also really good at range since you can extend the 5sk range with long barrel and blackout, and kill very fast with its fire rate. The thing with the m13 is you actually have to be able to land all your shots. It takes more tracking ability than other ARs. That being said it's definitely still the worst AR imo as it fills a pretty niche role and therefore wont be as consistent as a M4 or kilo

I feel like some of these older gun guides need to be revisited. EDIT: Like every few months have an: "Assault Rifle Stats Revision 1" "SMG Stats Revision 2" etc. breaking down any of the significant buffs and nerfs that may have changed optimal setups. New players looking at this guide will probably give the M13 a complete pass except for the Skeleton Stock, which is now not even a good attachment for it, despite the M13 being an absolute beast.

I think it’s underrated. You didn’t mention .300 BO with suppressed barrel which is a lot of fun but not the main reason I run the M13. I run Merc grip, skeleton, stippled tape, preferred laser (sometimes I go to 1mW when I feel like they’re seeing me coming too good) and then either short barrel or 50 mag rounds for the specific application.

Hardcore: Outclasses M4 and Kilo with it’s rate of fire. Out classed by SCAR, AK, ODEN, and most SMGs (not MP7) because of lack of One Shot Kill range.

With the recent buff to the damage range on the M13, would you consider running the Tempus Cyclone Barrel instead of the Marksman now to get the added sound suppression. Basically turns it into a stealth class with same benefits as marksman barrel from PrePatch, but without the ADS and movement speed hits. Thus the Loadout becomes: Tempus Cyclone, GI Mini Reflex, M13 Skeleton Stock, .300 Blackout Rounds and Stippled Grip Tape.

When I switched to the m13 from other assault rifles, my kills started sky rocketing and I felt like I could actually play with others now, I actually get decent score streaks... i actually prefer the m13 over anything else, i also never knew about that skeleton stock im grinding hard for that

The M13 is actually my favorite gun and the first gun I got gold (as of yesterday) I found that the recoil is kind of harsh. But learning the recoil pattern and compensating isn’t too hard. I run the M13 as such: M13 base Tempus Cyclone 4.0x holo hybrid M13 skeleton stock Angled grip .300 blackout rounds This class once you learn to control the horizontal recoil is quite a powerhouse. At long range Yea you’ll need to be really precise but I found quick 3 round bursts are best because the first 3-5 shots are purely vertical recoil. As for the rest if anyone cares I run the Deagle, scavenger (since this this burns through ammo like no ones business and I don’t like waiting for the re supply box, ghost (to keep hidden in combination with the tempus cyclone barrel), and whatever that perk is that let’s you switch weapons faster for when I need to finish someone or if I run out of ammo and need to take care of another guy. And finally dead silence as my field upgrade As a whole this class revolves around the tempus cyclone barrel, m13 stock, ghost and dead silence since in combination you can be quick stealthy and dangerous if you are smart about how you engage.

Alex Maurice it takes 6 rounds to kill at range while everything but the scar, fal, ak, and oden, it is the same. 6 rounds to kill at max range. Mp7 takes 7 to put in perspective yet will kill the m13 user first. The gun just feels horrible. Idk y but u can shoot those 6 rounds and it still feels like it requires far more in a firefight. Even with its god tier accuracy.

P90 is a laser on steroids lol. The first barel attachment is all you need to be a god in this game right now. You can literraly snipe accross the map with the thing it's so insane. I would say its pretty bugged right now but if you haven't already, then just try it out with the first barrel attachment. You won't regret it.

I've actually been preferring the M13 over the M4A1 (post nerf). The versatility of the gun makes it my main choice. I don't like the M4A1 as much in tight quarters/hip firing. So I feel the the M13 has a good balance of mid-range and close combat effectiveness. I'm an aggressive passive player. So this gun just works for my play style. I can take a breather and set up an angle and watch a lane or push into an area and get in close. Thumbs up from me.

Hey ACE. You found out recently about how negative bullet velocity also decreased damage at range. The blackout ammo gives you damage at range as a positive stat, but also has negative bullet velocity. In the end, with your new info you shown in your recent video, do you actually gain or lose range with blackout ammo? Please m13 lowers upvote so he can see

M13 is underrated AF. Loved this gun since the beta. First gun I maxed out. Now running with monolithic silencer, skeleton stock, marksman barrel, blackout rounds, and thermal hybrid. Only problem I have is with the almost 2 second delay it takes to fire that every gun seems to have after a reload.

Guns I would like to see next: .357 (Snakeshot = secondary shotgun) AK47 (some top players really like it) AUG (5.56 conversion = AR/MP hybrid) Oden (very high damage, but that recoil) PKM (best LMG?) R9-0 (amazing on Shoothouse) Also: 725, Deagle. On a side note I find these ammo conversion kits really interesting and they are really fun to play around with.

The AK47 is honestly appalling. The damage does not feel like it compensates for the horrific fire rate. Apparently they stealth nerfed it by fkin with the recoil pattern or something. I put it on single shot mode (basically unusable at range on auto fire) and there are way more hitmarkers than I'd expect. The M13 on the other hand is a middle ground between an M4 and MP5. You'll lose to assault rifles at range, and lose to SMGs up close, but you can actually take on both if you pick your range right. You can merk MP5 users from range and M4 up close. The rate of fire is mad, and even though the gun pulls to the right, I swear it feels like crouching with the Uzi, every shot lands... And coz of flinch, it becomes much harder for the enemy to hit you in return if you get your shot in first and in a high damage area. I tried blackout ammo but for whatever reason it doesn't seem to kill any faster despite the alleged damage increase from a higher caliber. So I'm just going with the 50 round mag.

I play this with no stock, .300 Blackout, Cerberus Mini, Corp Holo sight and then the one grip tape that increases aim down sight speed that I can't remember the name of. It's a blast to play and surprisingly effective.

I've noticed the vertical grips do basically nothing compared to the angled foregrip. The absolute recoil meta build i've found is AFG/Brake. With those two attachments your gun literally doesn't move no matter which you're using. You also don't get the ADS speed nerf from the Vert grip. For some reason the combo removes almost all vertical *and* horizontal recoil.

When I threw on the Skeleton Stock, I definitely noticed a massive difference. I was running the 680 as the Shorty 12G with Overkill on, and I was sticking with the M13 out while I was running the Skeleton. I combined it with the Tempus Mini and Stippled Grip, and it just makes it completely unfair in close quarters against other ARs. If it's a bug, I hope they don't patch it because right now it's the only thing that gives it an advantage over the other ARs. Or patch the bug and buff it to where it is. Combining those three with the Lightweight Suppressor and Commando Foregrip (to help with horizontal recoil) just turns the M13 into an instant laser. Or swap the Suppressor for the Compensator, and the recoil becomes nothing. I don't typically have an issue with the recoil so I swapped the Commando Foregrip for .300 Blackout. That with the Suppressor and the Skeleton-Mini-Stippled Grip turns you a literal stealth ninja. I fell in love with it for its high fire rate. Reminds me a lot of the OSA from IW except without the TTK advantage that came with the OSA once you mastered its insanely high vertical recoil. That's definitely my favorite loadout for the M13 right now.

This gun has a lot of really unique qualities on it but I think it deserves 3 things to let it compete properly in this game: → A raised head shot multiplier, perhaps even to 1.9x damage, to allow one head shot to always decrease its bullet to kill by 1 and be very helpful to it at any range. Honestly if it gets both of the other two suggestions, this may not need to be as necessary, but this in particular would only allow it to compete with the other assault rifles, which i believe is a fair quality to have. → It does not deserve the horrific recoil that even SMGs that shoot near that speed don't have. At least allow it a similar quality to the M4/AK-47 where the drift doesn't begin to veer heavily until a few bullets in. At the rate at which this gun fires, I think 5-6 bullets of strongly reduced horizontal recoil would be fair. Vertical can remain unchanged. → One other small thing that'd be nice would be a solid buff to its hip fire spread to allow its more SMG-esque qualities to shine through the muddle of the low damage numbers. Perhaps reduce it back to pre-patch assault rifle numbers. That was a pretty fair spread and, once again, the bullet damage of the gun in comparison to SMGs themselves is the trade-off for allowing that extra benefit. If it gets at least two out of these three changes, I think it'll at least be able to settle into its own nice niche in the assault rifle category. I really do enjoy the unique attachment combinations and general aesthetic and combat design of this gun. It's a nice change of pace. --Buff the burst perk option though, lol--

Sounds like it has top-tier potential with the attachments unlocked. It’s like the mirror universe version of the AK, which comes with the same caveat that the base model’s performance doesn’t let on right away how it will delete opponents when leveled. Totally different guns in real life, and in game. The M13 doesn't even act like the HoneyB, it fires too fast and has less damage.
