These reviews with Sean are my favorites because of the nice mix of military commentary from Sean and brick building commentary from Scotty. Keep coming back Sean!

These tanks are really cool. I'm probably going to pick this one up sometime soon. I just finished building Kazi's M1 Abrams and Panlos' T90. They are very detailed and a really fun build. Btw, the explosive reactive armor works by displacing the energy of the incoming round. Modern armor piercing tank rounds are designed to channel the explosion into a small point. It blows a small hole in the tank and the explosion from the round is forced through that tiny hole and then splatters all over the inside of the tank, killing the crew and destroying the insides. The explosive reactive armor explodes when the incoming round hits it and thus forces that explosion that would be concentrated into a small point (and thus penetrate the armor) into spreading out into a wider area and thus the regular armor of the tank is able to absorb that spread out energy and cause minimal damage. Modern anti-tank rounds work for the same reason that weapons with spikes were used back in the Middle Ages. The spike would concentrate all the energy of the blow into a small point and thus be able to penetrate the metal plate armor.

OMG. That's crazy to know. As for Kazi I have yet to build a tank from them. I've only built baby ones which I sometimes gift to people that order from me lol. I gotta look into them.

So those flaps that the turret get stuck on could be a representation of Bii boxes. Bii stands for Basic Issued Items, which holds tools to maintain the vehicle, spare bolts, end connectors for the track, and other things. I work on a version of the m48 that deploys bridges. The m48 is similar body to this.

Finally, a tank with a plow! Wreck havok and plant corn at the same time. No, I have never built a tank before, but this one looks like it would be fun. Having the mine sweeper in the front and several unique mini-figs are plusses.

Hi Scottie. Another brilliant review from you and Sean, love the Polish mine detector 😀😁😂. The Wandering Earth is a pretty good film and the Earth Truck looks a good build (I got it from you, thanks for the gifts😇). When you review it can you compare it to the Sembo trucks please. Keep up the good work you two crack me up, thank you!!!

Thanks Andy and awesome! I think k every brand has made an Earth Truck, I'm not sure what's up with that. The Panlos is indeed really good. I'm still waiting for for the sembo one to arrive to compare. It's on back order...I guess due to being the official one, everybody in China is hoarding them.

Sean did say some good points about this tank, but the M60A3 was the last one in long tradition of big American medium tanks. they're highly successful of the Israeli, when they were in Yom Kippur war in 1973. he was right about it being the standard main battle tank (or m.b.t for short) of the US Army from the 1960's to the 1980's, meaning it did do some in Vietnam and up to the middle east conflicts too. but the M60 was later replaced with the M1A1 Abrams. Yeah, the M60 did well against the Soviet T-54/55s and T-62s, since it had 250 mm of frontal armour. bit it isn't significantly better protected. with the long range 105-mm gun, it was more accurate and it's powerplant was more reliable. on the bad side of the M60, it was outclassed by the T-64s and T-80's, even the M60 was equal to the early T-72s by the US Army. but the M60s was in service for Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, and the Egyptians as well. for the speed, it could travel at the speed of 48 km/h (30 mph). it had a crew of four. the length of the tank was 6.9 m (22 ft 8 in), height was 3.27 m (10 ft 9 in). as for the armament the gun it had two mgs one was 50-cal and the second one was .62-mm mg. I did like it since it didn't show too many studs like other bands do and the tracks do move perfectly when you push the tank around. the one think I look at for a brick tank is if the tranks do move smoothly on their own, that's just me. they're work better on this one and on the T-90, except the tank from Xingbow's across the battlefield you did. I did enjoy watching Sean pretend to set off a mine, that was great to watch. as for the land mines, they're still finding leftover mines from the second world war in North Africa, that's where Princess Diana founded an organisation that'll remove leftover landmines so no body gets injured or killed. but there was two versions of this put out, there was this one and the other version had swinging chains on it. but there were problems with fighting in North Africa was when dust kicked up and there was no landmarks go off by and there problems navigating through the desert too. well that's enough from me. see you later.
@brickmeupscottie5 жыл бұрын
Once again thanks for info. Good read. I'll be sure to send Sean to North Africa to find them. Hahaha

Very nice review and nice tank. I just bought Russian T90 but it is really bigger tham COBI tanks. I think the scale is not matching with the minifigures: they are for 1/35 and this should be 1/22... what do you think?
@brickmeupscottie2 жыл бұрын
I’m really bad when it comes to scale. I’m ok as long as it can sit a fig inside hahah. I have heard from other Panlos is a bit bigger though so maybe Cobi is the way to go to keep the scale consistent.

The slope on the back underneath the exaust should of not be moving, it's apart of the body. The only things that open are the two rear exausts but I guess they didn't intend to have them open on this model. Also the engine is pathetic. Don't get me started on that. Overall as a toy aspect it's great, not super 100 % realistic for a adult but it is really realistic for a kid. Over all this is cool to me but not mini figure scale :
@LtChamberz5 жыл бұрын
It's pretty darn realistic for the average adult too. Just not for someone who actually works on it real tank. It's kind of like watching one of those medical drama shows with a real doctor. If they're in the mood they will tear into all the inaccuracies. :) I agree about the scale... I think the xingbao scale is more appropriate.
