Ingredients of Paat Shaker Daal:
1. Paat shaak/Jute leaves (1 bundle).
2. Matar daal/Dried peas (100 gram).
3. 2 slitted green chillis.
4. Turmeric powder
5. Paanch foron (¼ tsp).
6. 1 dry chilli.
7. Sugar (as per your taste).
8. Salt (as per your taste).
9. Mustard oil (2 tbsp0.
Methods of How to cook Paat Shaaker Daal:
1. Separate the jute leaves from jute stem. Wash it properly. Now soak in water for 30 min.
2. Boil the dried peas by using 8 whistles in pressure cooker.
3. Blend the boiled dal very well.
4. Add jute leaves, 2 slitted green chillis, ½ tsp turmeric powder, ½ tsp salt and 4 cups of water. Mixed it well.
5. After mixing cook in high flame for 5 min.
6. Now take another pan. Heat 2 tbsp of mustard oil.
7. Add ¼ tsp panch foron and 1 dry chilli. Fry for 10 to 15 sec.
8. Add dal mixture of pressure cooker.
9. Add ½ tsp sugar. Now cook in high flame for 5 min.
10. Taste it. Add sugar and salt as per your taste.
11. Cook 5 min more in high flame.
12. Your Veg recipe Pat Shak Diye Daal is ready. Serve hot with rice or roti.
