They mentioned that in the video, you didn’t tell us nothing new, but glad they took great care of her because, it sounds like the EMTS did not do the same! I don’t think people understand the after effects it can have on ones heart, the effects can be immediate or a few days shortly after, same thing can be said, for if one happens to fall over something heavy. It was a good thing she was on her way to the hospital, because, through meds they can get that heavy stress around the heart to go down. Been there done that, certainly is no fun! More than likely along with her weight may have eventually contributed to her dying much sooner, sadly so, unfortunate!

Thank you Micheal so many refused to see how many you helped, did for . I remember when it was said you and your brothers would visit Jackie Wilson . You payed for David Ruffin of The Temptations funeral no matter what others said about him,his addiction and many others when unknown . Your heart was way too big for this world and it’s sick people who would use it against you for years until they wore you out .

That part with Earnest Lee Thomas seeming to talk bad about Mabel was all cap. I knew that man couldn’t have been speaking ill of her like that and so I searched for the interview and found it. He was speaking of Bill Cosby when he said your old ass and being arrogant. The first time he and Fred and Dwayne met Bill on the set of his variety show he was on some bs because that variety show was tanking and they brought them in to boost the ratings of the show and Bill couldn’t take it. When y’all doing these so called pieces on people you should research better and not making it seem like this black man had a problem with this black woman because of her stance and walking away from the show.

Mabel King was from that proud era where "black" actors and actresses had standards with a desire to always project the most positive images in their characters. Another was Esther Rolle who insisted on having a husband in "Good Times" or she was going to decline the part.

I loved Mabel King from What's Happening. She is an exact replica of my mother. Mom raised me and my sister by herself and although she was very loose with my sisters upbringing, she was very strict on my upbringing. I was scared to death of my mother finding out that I was being bad in school lol. R.I.P. Mabel.

Esther Rowe also had to fight to get a Black Husband on Good Times. She told them that if they didn’t give her a husband she wasn’t going to do the show. Esther was highly respected and that’s how we got John Amos on Good Times. Then he wanted to progress his family out of the projects and they killed him off the show. This was the propaganda of the 1960’s and 1970’s. This is why the Cosby Show was so important. An upper middle class Black family with a mother and father who were both intelligent, classy, and high paid professionals. Then in the 90’s we amazing television with Black family’s. Family Matters. Fresh Prince of Bel Air. The Parenthood, etc. Notice how now there are next to no black tv shows with a black family. That’s by design.

I ❤ Whats Happening yet my issue was the absent father bs , like Thalamus Rasulala character couldn't be husband and wife and be a father with Roger & lil Dee .
