Love the one piece black pickguard and the single coil on the humbucker sounds really good. it can hold it's own. Beautiful job O'Neal, chordings are sweet.

I love the middle pickup on strats. It's something about how the highs shine. She's right. It sorts of cuts through better compared to the 4 other positions. And it is very warm.

I've actually always hated it/not cared at all about using it as I just didn't find it interesting sounding. However, I recently decided just to throw it on and give 'er a bit with it, and I was like... how the hell have I never appreciated this pickup?!?!? It's got this nice midsy honk that I just never uncovered somehow. So, yeah. Recent convert!

I’ll admit I’ve never heard of Ari O’Neil but I have now , but she’s an incredible player, so many great female players out there now ,and this guitar really looks sharp and sounds amazing , very versatile I’d buy one , but in that crazy solar flame finish !

@Guitar Center Could you do a video comparing Ultra Gen 1 vs Ultra 2 SSS pickups. I own a Ultra Gen 1 SSS and would like to hear difference back to back and opinion from someone hearing them in the room. From what i heard so far they sound identical so would be really interesting to hear from someone comparing them.

Same, I bought the Strat Ultra I (Texas Tea, SSS) when the price dropped a few weeks before the Ultra II’s shipped. I’d be curious to hear a back to back comparison of the CLEANS between Ultra I and II, both in SSS. I play closer attention when a reviewer showcases the clean tones of an amp or guitar.

all the strats are nice, i have a mexican player thats my budget its plenty good enough, leo hit the jackpot with this design, if guitarists dont have a lot to spend, mexican are excellent, if you have the budget the ultra is excellent but my point is you dont need to spend the big amount on a guitar like this to have a nice strat

I appreciate the fact that fender does offer an American ultra two in a left-handed version with three single coil pickups but what us lefties really want is this guitar with an HSS, come on fender how hard is it to do that,schecter and other brands offer a guitar like that for way less money and just as good quality you guys can do better.
