Hi! I bought my first MacBook Pro M3 Max 16 inch in August, it's still terribly expensive but I got the chance, I've always had windows computers and this MacBook Pro is beautiful, strong and powerful and I still have to get used to it and learn and it is an exciting and wonderful experience, and I still have my 6-year-old MSI gaming computer, which I also use from time to time. Thank you for this video, it's nice to watch your videos because they are different, somehow alive and free and not so dry and not serious and I like that!

I’ve been also holding out with my base model M1 Macbook Air. Thinking of finally upgrading to this since I use OLEDs everywhere now and 60hz IPS panel of the M1 Air looks really dated these days 😅

The base macbook pro is really compelling to me I was initially going for the 15 inch air but what you get in the pro for an additional 100 dollars is crazy. I will wait to see if there are any changes in the m4 airs next year (ports on each side please) otherwise pro is the way to go

Id say a macbook pro is good for you. Looks like you upgrade not so often. For gaming though I’d just suggest a ps5 pro.

m4 base macbook pro; it's been shown to have higher benchmarks compared to the m3 pro with 18 gb ram 512 gb storage ssd, so I would get the m4 base macbook pro if i were you. you should look up the benchmarks if you want better proof and clarification, search up cinebench or geekbench scores for the m4 base vs m3 pro.
