Wonderful video, thanks for sharing! :D Typically, we eat Tavče Gravče apart from kebapi. However, I suggest trying Tavče Gravče with traditional Peči Gmeci Paprika (with garlic and vinegar) and traditional bread as a combination, which creates the ideal blend.

I am Macedonian and I dont really like a burek or other pastry with too much cheese. I dont know what cheese does everyone use, but the burek which I have tried from Vinica is amazing. It is with what we call "burek so urda" which is burek with cottage cheese, and the cottage cheese differs. Like here in Slovenia where I live its soo different, ...I think Macedonia has the best cottage cheese, that is just my experience.

As a local, I was inspired by the glowing representation of Chardak restaurant in this video, and I took my family for dinner there. Indeed, the food shown in your video appears exquisite, and I trust it was very delicious. However, it seems this was all a facade because, apparently, the owner may have put extra effort into carefully preparing the dishes for the foreign visitors. We ordered exactly the same items, and they were absolutely terrible. The hors d'oeuvres were either too salty or utterly bland. The bread was stale and then grilled, yet the staleness was still evident. The pork knee was clearly frozen and then poorly reheated, leaving it stone cold on the inside. The portion size was half of what was presented in the video. In short, an utter disappointment. This is a sure way to lose customers. A restaurant that overperforms in a promotional video and then severely underperforms with everyday customers is unacceptable. We will never go there again. Shameful.
