Use your clothes, any bed sheets and other soft items as packing stuff to protect the breakable times. If you have a massive TV then you can wrap it up in a duvet. All your dishes can be wrapped up in jumpers and socks. Pack it tight so it doesn't break. You get the idea.

We’re in a similar position. Have been told by our landlord we can’t stay so we’re currently frantically flat hunting to have a home for august. Taking positive vibes for all your flat hunting/moving content

Gurl, large command strips can hold 7kg each and the small ones can hold almost 2kg. You only need one large per piece of artwork on the top, maybe one on the bottom too to help keep it flush.

I know you were bummed about being kicked out, but I noticed that all the last 6 months when we had bad things happen, things resolved to our advantage: car got rear ended 2x within 10 minutes, new car is such an upgrade and cost less than the old one. Husband got layed off from company he had worked for about 26.5 years, new company pays 12,000 more a year and year end bonus is 5 % higher + stock options. They also have flexible leave options and he loves what he's doing now so much more. So, it looks like this move also led to a better, more spacious flat, things worked out well. Congrats on the lovely new flat.

You know, I moved to a new flat too and the previous one was given for some office work for government, but yeah I thought moving would make me sad, but eventually it made me feel cleansed, not just physically but also emotionally.
