The groove on the side of the sanding block was clever and worked well

The center line on Superbird nose cones and hoods never lined up from factory. Love watching you sand 😂. Glad I normally have a lot of patience 🙃

37:58 I did something like that on a tuner I built but I taped the edge of the bumper so the filler didn't stick to it. Once the filler stuck I pulled the tape off and sanded everything flush. The result was a really crisp line unfortunately someone backed up into the car before I finished the paint job. I kind of gave up on the project after that.

Fiberglass dynaglass would be a good alternative to fill that area?

Thanks for the helpful info! I was also wondering about 1st coat being a fiberglass short strand being a stronger base.
@JoDaddysGarageАй бұрын
That would work.

My first car was a brand new 81 Trans-am SE . The rear spoiler never lined up corrrectly. Brought it back 3 times to the dealership and after replacing 3 times it still never fit correctly from the factory. I remember the technician getting frustrated with it. Factory misaligned
