Yep, Corner Shot in the end of Mach’s verse you can actually literally hear the beat for Continental Breakfast for a brief moment. Corner Shot is one of the best beats I’ve ever heard

“You can hear it like water being poured on your head” may be the most accurate description of listening to Mach Hommy to date. He’s also the hardest to get into. Took me 3 times over 2017… towards the end of 2017, it clicked. And it’s: “Spit synthesis, no reminisce now…” spit in Jamaican Patois

Flip you like Chopped Cheese is a hilarious line. For those that don’t know, in NYC a Chopped Cheese is a chopped hamburger sandwich to which a burger patty is chopped up & topped with cheese and eaten with regular sandwich condiments. Most cooks in the deli’s put the bottom of the bread on top of it once it’s done, slide the spatula between the grill and meat and flip it so that the beef don’t spill over and finish making the sandwich from there. This attention to detail is truly comical bc Mach has so many references only a true new yorker/ new jerseyan would know from living there.

Hey Professor! Thank you greatly for the highlight on my reddit comment on the potential meanings of him repeatedly saying Red Roof! I am a HUGE fan and am honored to make it on your video!!! I also want to point out that he is calling himself the Yucatan Gook** Mach is referring to what is a slang term that people say in Miami which is “Gook” which is a person who is a misfit or just not with the rest of the crowd. Denzel Curry has a song named Gook and has explained what it means on twitter as he was receiving backlash as it is historically a racial slur to some asian people.

Interesting Sadhugold story.....to shorten the story I met him before almost under the same circumstances but this is the second time we saw each other at the same place. Anyway I'm a 45 yr old hip hop junkie that blasts stuff like this so people remember me for that. Anyway I was blasting something from DM2 and as I pulled off he said "yo! That's me!" I yelled out the window, ,"I know!" Ever since when I bump into him at the same place I always acknowledge him as "the best producer in the city." Has been about a year since the last time.
