This system seems to work on the Axelson better than other machines i have used it on because of the wide mount surface on the compound. At one time this was the quick change tool post in the west as they were made in LA too. Mounting another KDK to the backside of the cross slide was popular and they stuck them on boring mills. The low profile turned out good for videos!

I was scanning Amazon yesterday & saw some one was selling 6 0r 7 different size KDK boring bar holders then I notice an importer CO. was copying the whole line of KDK holders.

The imported holders seem to be good, I have one. The system seems to work great with the old Axelson
