Mackie has a great track record producing mixers. The ProFX30v3 30-Channel Mixer is now on my short list for replacement when my current board dies. My top choice is the Yamaha MG32PX, but when I check out all that the ProFX30v3 can do at its price point, I have to reconsider. I wanted to share this information with anyone interested, and hope that it serves useful.

I randomly always have drama with my mackie mixers. I had two pro fx of different sizes and (me leaving the power cable plugged in) fried both machines at different times!!! Guitar center and Sam ash , gave me a replacement (because i got both separately from those stores) and I have two working mixers. I just only plug them in when i am about to mix! I LOVE THE GREEN. I got there onyx and WOAH they are so cool. BUT WHEN I WAS CLEANING MY ONYX, the label ripped off! So it says (On 8. Not Onyx 8) I love my Mackies…… even though they are sorta flawed. I dont like the look of the other mixers.

Can i send usb playback to certain channels via my daw? Or is usb playback only sent to a specific channel/s on the mixer??

Using a USB Type B Connector, the unit functions as an up to 18 IN/18 OUT, 96 kHz/32 bit audio interface by connecting to a PC via USB cables. Installing Yamaha Steinberg USB Driver is required for communications with a PC. Thanks for watching.

Hello. We bought one for church and connect it to a power but the power keeps shutting off when we are playing all the instruments for more than 30 minutes (The brand name of the power is Audiopipe). I would like to know if the profx30v2 is a powered mixer? What would be the best power to use?

I would stop doing that. My suggestion would be to plug the unit into a Furman Power conditioner & Surge Protector, and then plug the Furman unit into an AC wall outlet. The Power consumption for this unit is 50 watts, using a universal AC power supply at 100-240 VAC, 50-60 Hz. Thanks for watching. 👍🏿

2x4 USB I/O allows you to create mixes on your PC to send back to the unit. What your asking depends on the DAW software and your specific configuration. Thanks for watching.
