Good day sir and thanks for the video. We just bought a brand new profx30v2 to use in church. I connected a cable from the balanced port on the main out to a power amp where speakers are connected. It first of all sounded well, but about 30 mins latter it started making a sti sti sti sound. I dont know if it is wrong connection of wrong cable or the Mixer is bad. thanks for your help.

It’s a beast, I’ve got the 10 channel and I’m thoroughly impressed with the quality of it. As always you come to the point you need more… Only downside I see is the size of it.. but you can’t have 30 channels otherwise so…

Hello. We bought one for church and connect it to a power but the power keeps shutting off when we are playing all the instruments for more than 30 minutes (The brand name of the power is Audiopipe). I would like to know if the profx30v2 is a powered mixer? What would be the best power to use? Thanking you in advance!

This mixer is NOT powered. Your power "amp" is defective, OR you are sending too much signal to it, or trying to get too much sound out of the amp, and it is shutting itself off to protect itself. The signal going out of the mixer should be roughly around zero (unity gain) and the amp should not be turned all the way up, if so, you need a bigger amp. First thing to try is a different power amp, after making sure the outgoing mixer signal is not too hot. The problem I have with this mixer (I have one with less channels) is that I cannot see the level meters in daylight, so this makes setting the gain on each channel a pain.

How do you setup four active monitor speakers on the Mackie FX Pro 22? I see it has four 1/4" jacks in the sub section but it produces no sound? We use it for live control of the studio and need to group out to four different monitors which we could group 1-3 and 2-4 and separate using left and right. Seems this is only covered using a one or three monitor setup. I need to see clearly where the four speakers are running out at and not so much on how to group them. I wish the software would allow you to group and change channels into output buses, am I missing something? Thank you for any help on this.

Check the PAN And Balance on the Mixer, Don't have this mixer anymore but there is a button that changes what you see main vs monitor or something like that, when that feature is on you only see one side of the meter.

Hi can i record seperate channels through MIXER -> USB -> DAW ?

This mixer will only record 2 seperate channels out through usb. I use 2 seperate umc404hd record in mono and a mixer. That will give you 10 seperate channels to record to a DAW. That's the least expensive way to record an entire band in one take. I wish mixers ran more seperate channels to DAW through usb. The mixers that currently do that cost a small fortune. Someday in the future these companies will get it together affordably. 🙂👍

@@theplatinumpearls I think the Zoom L20 and that family of mixers seperates individual channel inputs into seperate tracks on your DAW through USB. I've been out of home recording for 10+ years and used to use a digidesign digi 02 firewire interface. Getting back into it now I'm torn between the zoom L-20 which has that ability to record to seperate tracks on your DAW and this Mackie, which has those awesome ONYX pre's and 192k sample rate. Now I've got to look at the Tascam Model 24 and the Korg

Kariayam Karidugong yes, it’s easy and straight forward with the USB, you can record the entire mix or record just the first 2 channels, connect the mixer to your pc via USB cable and select the mixer in the input settings of your DAW software
