Very helpful, cheers. Sean, do you happen know how to physically clean ( by dipping ?) old VHS tapes that have got mouldy ?

No probs. The only thing I've done with that is taken the cassette apart and wiped the mould off the edge of the tape! (But not the actual playing surface...)

That's a tricky one! The AI separation helps, but I've not found a way of eradicating it...
