When I read the Marvel comics as a kid , Madame Web didn't exist. She only appeared in a Spiderman cartoon series.

Great interview Josh, you can clearly see the movie for what it is but didn't pretend it was the most amazing thing ever by saying you were "blown away" but were also gentle enough in your questioning to make sure you get invitied back.

She sounds to me like a director for hire. Someone with experience in the industry that can get things done but has no passion or care for the source material. Just someone who was handed the script and told , "Hey, direct this."

Great interview - very insightful director - acknowledges the roots of the comics which is really cool (and refreshing) - and talks truthfully about the logical building of the film. Smart lady. Will definitely check out the film now.

Well watched 5 plus interviews with her, and yours at least is the best. You are holding her to account for changes she made. Would of wanted questions about how these female lead marvel project have lost 100 of millions, how this sexist, racist, DEI nonsense has turned great stories into woke garbage. Maybe a question about losing 30 million on the failed Game of Thrones spin off or the 100 million lost on the the marvels MSHEU all female cast and now we have an all female spiderman movie about to be the worst performing spiderman movie of all time. She should stick to directing 1 to 2 episodes TV shows of projects of talented people have already laid the foundation for, cause losing a 130,000,000 dollars should be a pink slip.
