Honestly, didn’t even know Sony was doing this. Was focused on Helldivers 2. Honestly after this, I’m going to keep playing Helldivers 2 over watching this movie. Seems like a better use of my time.

My favorite moment is how the villain has reverse Spider-Sense. Rather than alert him to danger so he can dodge attacks, it alerts him to safety so he can jump into the way of an ambulance that'd have completely missed him

@@raycas6881 Foreshadowing is when the writer gives a sign or a hint of something that will happen later in the story. And it sounds like FOUR-shadowing. The writers' foreshadowing in the movie wasn't that good, so he called it THREE-shadowing. It's a pun.

I watched it twice, and had a blast both time. The movie isn't just bad, it's unhinged. Writing, acting, sound design, editing, cinematography, every single aspect of it is a terrible, delicious failure. 1/10, I highly recommend

The one part of this movie that I think you forgot to cover in this pitch meeting was the fact that nobody at the airport reported her stolen taxi with the license plates ripped off for the entire week she was gone. She is just allowed to grab it like it’s nothing.

But also the taxi code on top of the taxi is still visible the entire movie. Like if it was stolen the cops would put out a thing saying "these plates and this bright taxi code on the roof is xxx" removing the plates wouldnt have done anything except make it look more suspicious

Im a bit surprised you didn't touch on Sydney Sweeney in this at all. I was watching another person review this movie, who was showing clips. and, "a coming of age story for the teenage girls". which made me immediately stop and go, "wait, what?" Sweeney is 27. obviously so adult women. I was just at a loss, they were trying to pass her off as a teenager. who in the world thought her playing an 15?yr old girl was a good idea?

The movie was actually set in the 1990s when filming before 9/11 happened and was to be a set-up for Andrew Garfield's Spider-Man. It was then changed in post production to 2003 (after 9/11) to be a set up for Tom Holland's Spider-Man

The worst part is that three Spider-Women running around in costume with gadgets and powers, kicking ass and taking names would potentially be really goddamn fun. And the filmmakers knew this. Honestly 7 minutes isnt enough. Takes out a whole squad of police officers, for no reason, and isn't brought up in the news at all. My favorite part being when he gets into the diner and just jumps on a table and sucker punches a dude, for no reason, and continues menacingly walking towards them. Cause he's the bad guy. Last but not least, for no reason, the taxi has more character development then any other character in the movie

The problem is, that for a pitch meeting, the writer must have a script to talk about. But in the current state of hollywood, scripts are written during the shooting. So the real pitch meeting was something like: "We need another spiderman movie to not lose the rights. Ok, I search what character was somewhat popular. I got this Web-Girl, let's make something with her. Ok, here have money."
