So did it feel a little like Agents of Shield then, I actually likened it to a lot of 70s and early 80s TV series. I avoided as may trailers as possible because I didn't want to know the whole story, it was it nice to see some of the portrayal of the Marvel characters some not so good but as introduction to characters on the big screen it does line up a number of different story lines if they ever get funding.

As long as their acting is on point, that’s it.. it’s weird you think they need to be fans of the movie.. are you a fan of the company you work for? Are you a fan of the grocery store you shop at? I found an interesting article claiming people are getting superhero fatigue, but I'm seeing a lot of directors and actors/actresses who have little or no personal investment in their productions: The third Charlie's Angels movie, directed by a man hater, The new Snow White, staring Zegler, who actually hates the original movie, Rings Of Power, directed and staring people who outwardly called fans of Tolkien 'racist', Season 8 of Game Of Thrones, directed only with intent to 'end it'. I see a pattern, there are people working their way into entertainment who hate certain genres and they're sabotaging them to fail. I can only assume why, but the real question is how do we stop them before they destroy sci-fi, fantasy and every form of hero we love?

well sydney sweeny said “she does these aerialist moves” about her character, yet none were shown. there was no point of showing her suit in the trailer if the amount of time it was in the trailer, was in the literal movie. i wish i saw more action on the 3 girls’s parts. also there was NO fighting. and there was no “madame web” name creation in the movie now that i think abt it. i really really hope it has a sequel.

I honestly think everything to do with the main character experiencing her powers for the first time, doubting them, questioning them, and learning to trust and use them is good. I was actually really engaged with it. and I think that the character also comes off as very real and believable throughout that series of events. Her relationship with Ben is very endearing as well. so like, somewhere between 1/3 and 1/2 of the movie is actually really good and enjoyable imo. - The villain has weak execution. I think everyone can agree with that. the ending was vomit inducing. It was like everyone involved with the production just gave up at the end. - but I honestly felt the good outweighed the bad throughout most of the movie, and the end was so bad so fast that I didn't feel like the movie was ruined so much as unfinished.

personally, i felt like Dakota's character was flat, and felt annoyed by what she was dealing with. she felt flat, her acting was how she talks, no emotion whatsoever. even at the end, when she was blind, just three more annoyances she has to deal with.

I enjoyed myself but it wasn't great. What really killed it for me was the editing and how quickly it moved. It was very deus ex machina which I expected because it's a movie with a character who can see the future, but it wasn't handled well. She went from not being able to control it at all yo suddenly being able to do everything in the span of a plane ride to south America. The editing was truly horrible, like worse than suicide squad. In suicide squad the movie just had no substance because everything that mattered was edited out, in this movie there are parts where full sections if dialogue are cut out and it's OBVIOUS. The very beginning of the film there is a part where Cassie's mother is talking and has a contraction mid sentence. Normally that makes sense, but they literally cut from her talking to another shot of her already contracting, there was clearly a part cut there. There's also a part near the end of the film where they're at a warehouse and the kids tell Cassie that they trust her and this and that. There's clearly a cut out part where Cassie has a speech of some kind like a motivational speech or explaining what's going to happen but it cuts right to her saying "okay, let's go" like why did they stop in the first place then??? It was whacky and tbh it could have used an extra 20 minutes of run time to fix those problems. I still don't think it'd be good, but it'd be way better. Also, Cassie getting hit by the firework at the end that blinds her is dumb as hell, she could have seen it coming and dodged it.

Haven't seen madame web yet but i felt the same about Ghostbusters. Heard everyone claim it was a feminist nightmare of progressive propaganda, but i didnt think so. I was entertained and felt that the criticism was biased. And im not a "progressive" person.

Nobody cares about Madame Web. Not even the people who made this awful movie care about the source material. Disney is doing exactly the same thing with Star Wars. They keep hiring directors who have little to no experience in the real world, they aren't fans of the source material at all, and they keep trying to interject girl boss bullshit in their stories. This was the biggest crock of shit aside from The Marvels and Eternals.

You’re absolutely nuts! The editing was terrible, the overdubbing of Eskiel’s was B movie bad. You saw superhero fighting for less than 5 minutes. All the movie did was set up a sequel than actually make a likeable movie. This was the worse superhero movie ever. Worse than Josstis League.
