Everytime you listen to people talking about their abusive partners, it's like they're talking about one person, the manipulation, the cheating, insecurities all those things, they're all the same, the only difference I think is the homicide or the type of killing...and I didn't notice that I until I went through the abuse, now I notice the signs of abusive very early whether from other people's relationships or even on soapies.

I just bought a brand new car, and I just recently got my driver's licence, so I asked my husband to go driving with me so that I can get used to driving this new car, the whole trip I was being shouted at, being told how useless I am, how stubborn I am while I don't know anything, the mental abuse, which is the norm, I have to walk on eggshells around him, as much as I now know that the man does not love me, as much as I dont depend on him financially, I jist dont know why I am subjecting myself to this....everytime I get flashbacks of the mental abuse, I get shivers

This is quite shocking. I know Nthabi's 2nd husband whom she recently divorced & I was really wondering what actually happened. I am glad she shared her side of the story. The guy used of how much he loves Nthabi; how good she has been to their family; he used to flaunt her around & praise her so much. I was actually surprised when he said they're now divorced. I guess pple choose to show only the good about their lives on social media. This is a sad story. I thought they'd go far together as they both seemed to be from previously troubled marriages. 😢 I guess we also tend to attract the same kinda toxic pple if we don't sever ties spiritually. These tend to be more spiritual if they are now becoming a pattern. I hope they both pull down; destroy & pluck out before they can build something new relationship-wise. Those who are deeply & spiritually inclined will understand what I mean by a curse repeating itself.

All that Ntabi went through didn't mean she's weak, she went through that process cause God wanted to use her to be a voice for the voiceless and this was based on experience and not something she read somewhere. Woman should love themselves and through this they will then realise when they not love correctly. I loved this episode, big ups Madam Speaker.

I wish not to invalidate the experience the speaker went through. And not that re-marrying is a bad thing. But it seems there is a deeper level of healing still needed - that surpass validation by marriage. I can imagine that the children are triggered once more. But we pray for a good experience.

Never ever fall for a man that can bad mouth their exwives or exgirlfriends for their failed relationhsips. A true man or women will never blame the next person for their failures. That is why an abused women would be hopeful that their relationship will be better if she stays in the relationship, and those kind good women should be valued instead of being abused.
