to be honest.. im cool if they sasuke couldnt reach madaras 10 tails level.. its fairly reasonable given that 10 tails is too immense chakra pool.... but, it would have made more sense if they just said sasuke had complete mastery of rinegan that surpasses madara. complete mastery could rival even those with higher power levels.. hence, they beat momoshiki.. the problem with naruto now in the boruto franchise is becoming dragonball power creep

The only example i can think of where he pushes the jutsu FAR beyond what it was is chidori. His genjutsu is impressive but even as an adult it doesn’t even come CLOSE to a young Itachi or even Shisui. He NEVER develops tsukyomi, he never really advances fire release especially after unlocking Amaterasu, and he uses like ONE rinnegan ability. The only thing I’d say he has TRUE mastery of are shuriken jutsu’s. And In that regard he truly is unrivaled.

I just had a thought. Night Guy’s kick was bending space, but we’ve seen more powerful characters outputting way more power without bending space. Maybe the reason that is is because the people who can outperform Night Guy have deity level chakra control and weren’t seconds away from death by being fried alive from the inside. Think about it, Baryon Mode Naruto is the single strongest thing the verse has ever seen canonically or otherwise and his move set wasn’t bending space. Godly power to an otsutski is far different than what a shinobi would consider godly power. Yes Hagaromo was indeed a god but not on the same level as what an otsutski would probably consider a god. Correct me if im wrong but technically all otsutski can transcend the physical plane. The difference is that shibai doesnt seem to need to use karma to return to the physical plane or even need to have a physical form to affect it. I could be wrong but i dont think it was ever stated that hagaromo could ever just ressurect on a whim. Sure he was able to reach out and connect with the physical plane to give his power to naruto and sasuke but obito was also able to do that for kakashi, possibly due to becoming an otsuski or retaining some of their powers from being the ten tails jinchuriki. Even if you look at momoshiki and isshikki in boruto, both were killed and were still able to stay for a short time to either pass on a karma or a message respectively. Also Hagaromo didnt have Jougan or isshikkis dojust, only the rinnegans which seems to be part of the reason shibai is considered to be a god by possessing all of the dojutsu and possibliy a form with dozens of jougan. Dont get me wrong Hagaromo is a beast and more than likely possessed many forms of shinjutsu but id say he is somewhere between the ranks of momoshikki or isshikki in terms of power.

We know at the very least that with the aid of his brother he was able to defeat both the complete ten tails and a full power Kaguya who at the least scales somewhat below base Momoshiki. After he becomes the jinchuuriki of the ten tails it's reasonable to assume his power would skyrocket to an absolutely astronomical degree considering the level of amp that KCM gives to Naruto. Correct me if I'm wrong but the fact that he's a jinchuuriki to a tailed beast that makes Kurama look like a baby, by comparison, being in possession of Dual Six Tomoe Rinnegan with the third eye, plus complete mastery of all chakra just seems absurd to me. Additionally, just his ghostly goo essence which is likely many times weaker than he was in life was enough to grant Naruto and Sasuke massive amps which allowed them to combat Kaguya, which was just a fraction of his power. Of course, we have very few feats that I'm aware of but based on this information alone I don't think it is unreasonable to assume he would completely shit on Isshikki at full power. Truly insane levels of chakra likely far eclipsing Naruto, the most advanced Dojutsu in the series, highest level of chakra mastery in the series, was able to give massive amps while being a shadow of his former self, etc. Curious about your opinion.

The guy before me has the gist of it. Madara was the 10 tails jinchuriki, and Zetsu ripped Kaguya out of him, thus killing him. And unfortunately for Madara all his hacks and stolen abilities, he still wasn’t an uzumaki and succumbed to the lethal extraction. That’s why he gets his final moments with Hashirama. Zetsu didn’t like punch him in the heart or something. (Something Obito survives somehow)

Assume alive madara during the finaly valley fight is 100%, like assume he doesnt get any stronger at all until the rinnegan which he gets so late in life it doesnt matter. that 100% is what we are using. edo tensei cuts him to 60-70% of his poer normally but kabuto has a bunch of upgrades... so instead of 60-70% he actually ends up with something like 80% of his total 100%. so when he uses the rinnegan and the cells he has an increase but hes still not actually at his full power. madara indicates when he says "this power is not something of your creation." implying that the meteor thing he does is something he couldve done normally. then madara grts actually revived by rinnerebirth, and he says something like, i can feel my old power returning or hashirama says it. someone says it lol so what the story is saying then is, ya that 80% he was of his actual power (even with the amps) was not his full power, but this alive version is getting 100% of his full power. and then he is stronger still because he still has the augmentations. hashirama cells, sage mode, rinnegan (altho he was blind he solves that). so like 120% And we can check this math because, when hashirama is revived, outside of using the improved edo tensei, and white zetsu, no update is made to hashiramas power. however we know that his power is cut enough that he cannot make the 1k arm senju statue and can only make so many clones. and of the clones he can make, madara wont even fight them bec he doesnt think they are strong enough to challenge him and his focus is divided. even if we are generous knowing all the stuff kabuto had to do augment madaras body, and say we get him 90% of his original power, and we say that hashirama low balled had 80% of his max power.... hashirama is still so strong that he can more or less evenly contend with edo madara and the rinnegan abilities and finds a why to subdue him. and we know thats quite the feat. and that is why blind madara is stronger cause he is 100% of his old power + augmentations + rinnegan. and we verify that because blind madara busts out of the deity gates. and lowkey thats a ten tails level feat and he doesnt display power on that scale before that tho you could argue the perfect susanoo is as close as edo madara gets to that level

I think this is one of those moments where plot makes things not add up. Sasukes peak form is at a time when his character is being sunset for the new generation so he won’t be gassed up where madara at peak is supposed to be the final boss so he was given absurd feats. It wasn’t until after Madara was revived that Hashirama said “He’s regaining his past strength” meaning as an Edo Tensei despite having a Rinnegan, and Wood Release his still wasn’t as strong as his alive counterpart. You also spread misinformation about how his Sage Mode works none of that stuff was ever stated meaning it conjecture holding zero relevance in a discussion. Madara also even after gaining his Rinne-Sharingan was still weaker than Naruto/Sasuke. He would’ve lost. Naruto’s Shadow Clones we’re able to defeat his Limbo Clones when he was trying to set up the Infinite Tsukiyomi. If we believe Shadow Clones are weaker than the original which they are factually Naruto would be stronger than three eyed Madara because in the databooks Limbo are stated to be equal to the original person. You also suggested Madara was approaching Hagoromo in strength, and is stronger than Kaguya which neither is true. Upon Kaguya’s appearance Sasuke says her chakra dwarfs Madara’s and he couldn’t believe someone that strong existed. In Naruto chakra and strength correlate to each other heavily so Sasuke’s statements support Kaguya being stronger than Madara, and that she’d win against him. This is hilariously bad in one instance you’re willing to take assertions at face value but in another you’re like there’s no evidence. Sasuke is equal to Naruto in strength with them both being legendary shinobi that can bully Otsutsuki. Fatigued Naruto/Sasuke > Fused Momoshiki > Kaguya > Three Eyed Madara. Madara’s limbo we’re only really equal to 1/5 of Naruto, as the clones split his chakra evenly. Calling his fights with the clones a better feat than Kaguya was one shotting them is a stretch. Madara had the advantage of Naruto only being able to sense his clones instead of seeing them, yet they went pound for pound in Taijutsu. I could be wrong about this, but I’m fairly certain that Naruto hadn’t gotten the other half of Kurama yet, so a max, Limbo clones were able to keep up with 1/10 of Naruto’s peak strength.

the limbo clones as quoted by Madara are equal to him in power, not in the sense that it's divided equal in the way that they are multiplications in a way, for example if naruto creates 4 clones, each clone and naruto will each have 1/5 of the total chakra, madaras limbo clones are 1:1 of madaras starting chakra so in total the will be 5x the original chakra amount

i would say that instantaneous/ irrelevant speed attacks are often misunderstood. in most applicable cases the [attack] is not itself instantaneous, only the [movement] to the point were the attack would be initiated. this might not sound like anything worth noting but an incredibly high speeds things like teleporting primarily work not because of how fast you move but because of how hard it is to predict instantaneous movement which leaves you open to the non-instant attack. characters like the flash can move at incalculable speeds that defy time-space and can actually hit you while moving that fast but the flying Raijin seems to always be moving to a place and THEN attacking. you can set up the attack, like winding up a punch, and then teleporting behind your target to land the punch but the punch isn't moving anywhere near as fast as your movement to the spot

In the anime, it is as you described: he teleported, and then started movement. But In the manga, Minato teleported and didn't make any other move; he only fell in the same position, landing an almost instantaneous Rasengan.

I'm loving these videos NCHammer. I've always thought of these topics myself and came to the same conclusion. When it comes to Madara vs Kaguya, it all boils down to intelligence (or battle IQ as you say). You can have all of the power in the world, but unless you know how to really use it, you will always be defeated by someone more skilled. When Obito became the 10 tails Jinchuriki, he lacked the intelligence to use its power effectively because at the time he was having an inner power struggle with it, but once he gained control he became a much serious threat. When Kaguya appeared, Black Zetsu was mostly directing her throughout that fight. She didn't have any battle plan when she dealt with Naruto and Sasuke, other than just separating them to absorb their chakra. Against Madara, he would understand her objective and use that to his advantage and he has quite a few jutsu he could use to put an end to her, like sealing her away, binding her with the rinnegan black receivers and chakra chains or ripping out her soul with the Human Path. Also, if Kaguya isn't able to see the Limbo clones and if the clones are able to use the Rinnegan powers (Not sure why they wouldn't be able too), then the clones could just rip her soul out with the Human Path before she could react.

I thought after getting an upgrade, he'd be able to spam more abilities more but it just hindered and weakened him more smh. That quote about Kaguya being dead was probably just a mistake considering it contradicts everything. Kaguya was sealed by Naruto and Sasuke using the same Jutsu Hagomoro and his brother used to seal her. It makes zero sense for Kaguya to get killed by a jutsu that specifically seals you away instead of killing you, and one she already survived for over 10,000 years, and nothing has changed since then to make it kill her. Part of the issue I have with this theory is that yes madara was able to use less effort to defeat naruto shadow clones at the time… but aside from limbo after sasuke got the rinnesharingan he was pressing madara for a sec my by him self to where madara was questioning what kind of power they were using and if it was similar to his. I mean, it is really hard to tell how powerful Madara was, and would be. He barely had any time to explore his final form, and with his amount of intellect if he was given few days, i genuinely believe he would be able to solo most if not all characters in Boruto. Especially if he was serious about it. Also, whose to say he wouldn't grow stronger by the time Boruto takes place? If instead of being killed he somehow end up redeemed and lived(not the best idea story wise, but that's details), i could totally see him slapping some extra sharingans just like Danzo did. Hell, he probably would go after every single ocular technique available. He would get along well with Orochimaru in this sense. I kinda want a sitcom spinoff series based off of them doing many immoral experiments in whacky way

(note that Isshiki stomped both adult Naruto and Sasuke using only a portion of the Juubi's chakra. Kaguya got more than that)

But the idea for the 10 years extra is because he would also have the Juubi but that aside just like Naruto and Sasuke got Hella stronger in the time between Shippuden to Boruto there's no reason why Madara wouldn't also get stronger. If most of the characters did between the time period there isn't a reason he wouldn't also. Plus it's just fun to speculate
