Wow, this is tragically ironic to the 3 similarly-named Simmons siblings who were killed in a DUI wreck on Dec. 15. 2021. Two very similar tragedies ending 6 completely innocent souls, each at the hands of a selfish, irresponsible person. There are just no proper words...

I'm so sorry for the loss of your beautiful children. My daughter was instantly killed by a drunk driver. Her spinal cord was severed and she had a massive brain bleed. Her killed got 2.3 months in jail.

I can't really begin to describe how hard this hit when watching and for the parents it's just got to be torture living with what that driver did to their children and then being on scene and having to see how brutal their deaths are just unimaginable and rips your heart out! For the one's that respond to scenes like that all the time and say it's the worst thing they ever seen, I couldn't imagine what they had to of seen when looking in the vehicle... this is just so brutal and I'm sorry for the parents to have to have those images burnt into their minds untill the end of their time

The Driver has a life sentence too. Every day he will remember what he did.

The driver has shown zero remorse. After the crash he tried to hide his booze and tried to leave the scene. He lied to the Onstar operator immediately after the crash and said there a no car wreck and nobody hurt, told her not to send help. He told the first witnesses on the scene that everyone was fine. In court, his defense attorney tried to give him every opportunity to show remorse and he flat out didn't. Typically, I would agree that the driver would live with this forever, but in this case I think the only thing he regrets is he is doing time in prison.

MADD sugests that fathers are not against drunk drivers as well which is discriminating and racist in todays politically correct society . The organisation should be reworded to perhaps parents against drunk drivers

They ruin the lives of the witnesses, the police and the paramedics as well. One cannot 'unsee" these events. Lets stop calling them "accidents". They never are. An "accident" is "ooops". That is not how negligence and irresponsibility in a motor vehicle should ever be portrayed
