This has to be the best description I have heard of it. I have never seen a KZbinr or anyone give up on this game. And as someone who mostly plays games made for kids (like a Hat in Time and stuff) or the easiest setting available. I was able to get through the whole game without ever feeling like I wasn't skilled enough to finish a room. Only like I didn't know the steps to do it. And during those times I would just trial and error my way though it. One of my all time favorite games. Edit typo.

Celeste is a perfect game for levelling up a new-ish gamer. It has the chill vibes, the quick restarts and infinite lives, and that wonderfully carved difficulty curve tickled onwards by the cute characters and beckoning journey. Another game that I've noticed seems to be good for newer gamers was Undertale, if only because the relative difficulty is low, but still has a certain curve to it and rewards certain behaviour. I mean, also because of certain repercussions, tending to want the good ending, and then seeing their reaction to all the cool stuff they missed. But this would most definitely be classed as bullying. :3
