The hallway looks great! I love the home you're making. I agree that tongue-and-groove would be lovely to continue that look a bit up the wall. As for the board on the wall going up the stairs, it could also look good to put some small hooks like on the bench to hang dried flowers or baskets (if it doesn't get in the way too much).

That message at the end about letting go of trying to control how people perceive you? Not only is that SUCH a great message for posting online, I think that’s a great message for real life too. I see a lot of people online remind themselves “people in the comments judging me don’t really know me”. Which is 💯 true. But you can have the same problem offline. Just because someone is physically in the same room with you when you say something, it doesn’t stop them from assuming/ interpreting your words in the worst way possible. Judging you or believing you are insincere, or have bad intentions. Looking for the bad in you. It happens there too. I think the main difference between online and offline is twofold. First, sheer volume. More people see you/ hear you online then in life. Especially if you’re an influencer. Second, how they express their hate. Online it’s through anonymous comments and dms. In real life it’s probably behind your back (which will get to you eventually). So I think this is an important message for everyone. Everyone needs support in staying true to themselves when faced with a world that so often wants to believe the worst of others. ❤️❤️❤️

The hall and the bench came out amazing beautiful colors! There are some natural bug sprays that repel spiders I would definitely spray That room! I'm with you my husband does laundry!
