Thank you for all your other workout videos too - makes me feel super motivated to get fit!

This is a good one for me because I have a natural pelvic tilt. It has taken me a long time to learn proper form for someone with weak lower abbs so I gave up a lot. If you are like me, only lower you legs with things like leg drops or dead bugs slightly if you back starts to arch and really think about using your abbs muscles to bring you legs back to the starting position. Squeezing your abbs and lowering your legs slightly, is better than over exerting what or your body can physically do. 😅 lots of influencers do not explain the importance of this and it’s puts people off. Thankyou for making an actual beginners video ❤
@luvhyun79817 ай бұрын
i can literally see my abs showing after doing this one! other ab workouts didn't really work for me because no one drew attention to pressing the lower back into the floor. i had been engaging my spine instead of abs but to no avail + my back was hurting. so huge thank you for constantly reminding to push the back to the floor - it is totally a game-changer. i've been doing this for a week and a half and i am not going to stop😼

Love this workout! I have followed you since January this year because I’m doing a “Fit by 40” thing for myself. I’ll be 40 in September. So far so good! I’m not losing weight on the scale but I have slimmed down all over. I get discouraged when I see the scale but remind myself that muscle weighs more than fat and the fat is being replaced. I’m 5’4” and 145 lbs. I have always been tiny and never had to workout but after 3 kids, things changed. Thank you for making workouts easy for this busy mama in North Carolina. You are amazing!
@jessicagutierrez2989 Жыл бұрын
Muscle does not weigh more than fat. 1lb of muscle is still the same as 1lb of fat. You can replace the fat with muscle, and recomposit your body, though! Muscle is more dense than fat, but does not weigh more 😁 what matters is measurements, and how your clothes fit! The scale is just a tool

I haven’t done a core workout in about a month since I’ve been more doing cardio and stretching, and I am not ready to start up again with her difficult and intermediate an routines, so this was perfect and I also love and appreciate that very first exercise that teaches the back muscles to stay pressed to the floor. I have a friend that pulled something in his back a few months ago, or “threw out his back” I guess?..he was hobbled for about a week and very concerning!! He was doing leg circles, or leg drops but in a circular motion. I asked him if he was pressing his back muscles to the floor while doing these things and that it is so important to prevent back injuries, and even I myself didn’t even think about it before tour videos! Well I wasn’t working out before your videos, but what a VERY great piece of information! The 1-minute-back-pressing-ab-exercise!

I used to wonder if I'd ever get used to this workout, and 3 weeks completed of doing it every other day, and I must say it's quickly becoming a breeze! It really is a perfect beginner ab workout, and I've always admired how you strive to work each muscle and not just the "cool" ones. No one realizes how important antagonistic muscles are until you work them! My lower back was really weak, which left my abs weak as well, even if they "looked good". My form was terrible, and I felt like I was wasting my time (which I was). now, starting over, I am paying even more attention to detail! So thank you for being a perfect model and instructor!

Had difficulty keeping my core engaged in the fitfh and last exercise, but over all 4/10, Day2 (12 Nov) Only took one break today which is a huge difference from yesterday, felt slightly easier now that I know all the exercises, still burns though 😭 but overall 6/10 Day 3(13 nov) Feels like I'm back at Stage one, took many breaks, but I also realized that I was doing an exercise wrong. I'm alsa able to keep my core engaged in most of em Day 4 Break Day 5(15 nov) It feels like my neck will gain abs, the exercises are getting easier thought so i think i will up the intensity and find a more difficult exercise on day 10 or something
