@@paigec5017 I obviously don't know Madison or her situation but from watching the night portion of their date I think her perspective makes a lot more sense. She said something along the lines of I can't say yes to a proposal if you have slept with someone else a week before. She said that she doesn't need someone to have made the same decisions as her but to accept a proposal, which for her is a commitment for life, just doesn't make sense if he's been intimate with someone else. I personally think that makes a lot more sense.

I def don't see Madison saying yes to an engagement, but if she can get passed this and accept that dating Peter at the end of this is an option (like Cassie and Colton), I think it will be her at the end of this. But I think what is holding her back is that Peter didn't choose her relationship over the others because she was so blunt about what could happen if he was intimate with the other girls. But I personally don't think there is anything wrong with what she told peter and the decision that she gave him.

Like the concept of this show isn’t awkward enough already, I fully understand her stance. It’s one thing she moved past the fact that he is dating and kissing other women, as she knows what she signed up for. It is a whole other thing to have to accept that the guy you are about to accept a marriage proposal from, has slept with someone else a week prior. I don’t think she should worry about thinking she is giving him an ultimatum or telling him what to do. She isn’t, she is just telling him what she is going to do, if that were to happen. Mortis Luke was basically telling Hannah what to do, and in a way where he was almost shaming her if she did decide to be intimate with the other guys I feel like Madison was trying to let Peter know her side and informed him that she’s not ok if he did. Granted, her message wasn’t as clear to Peter but I think she did it in a way where she’s not trying to get in the way of Peter’s decisions, whereas Luke was trying to talk down to Hannah for it. They have the same point so their conversations weren’t that different, but there’s a way to deliver your values without undermining the other person’s decisions.

This is a show built around promiscuity and a fake romance movie/book idea of “love.” None of this is love or real. It’s very scripted and artificial.
