You need to see an entire "Confessions Tour" it's beyond anything you've ever seen. I've been to two Confessions concerts, my second time was very very close to the stage and it was my first live encounter with the Queen and man, up close she looks like a porcelain doll, too beautiful and fragile, her energy is just insane. There's noone better on stage than her, she was born to do this.

6:04 Madonna is a bit of an equestrian hence the theme of the first section of the show. She fell off a horse and broke eight bones including her clavicle a month or so before shooting the Hung Up music video. This became further inspiration for the tour opening and the W magazine photo shoot imagery which plays in the background of this song. Also, the disco ball cost $4 million and the Live to Tell cross cost $1 million.

This was my first ever concert, August 2006 in London, I was 17. My jaw dropped when she came out of that disco ball and remained dropped for the next 2 hours. I’ve seen every show she has done since but this is by far the best. At the time it was the highest grossing concert tour by a female artist, only to become 2nd highest when she toured again 2 years later. The entire concert is on KZbin. Can’t recommend it enough. You still gotta see oh father/bad girl/what it feels like for a girl/American life uncensored/god control videos. Shooketh is the word.

My First Madonna concert ever and I was speechless leaving the arena that night, from the beginning to the end it was simply AMAZING!!!! My #1 Tour I’ve attended by far and I attended A LOT of shows. This tour was in support of her Confessions Album, which is EPIC and some of her best work and that’s what made this tour sooo special.

Her best concert tour EVER! I saw it three times, twice in Amsterdam (front row) and once in Dusseldorf (in Germany). This was the opening performance. The song itself was based on the synth loop of the classic Giorgio Moroder song "I Feel Love" which features vocals by Donna Summer and is also featured in this performance as a mash-up. The horse theme is because before the release of the Confessions of a Dancefloor album Madonna fell from a horse and broke several bones. The background visuals are filmed by legendary fashion photographer Steven Klein who is a longtime collaborator of Madonna. The tour itself features many legendary and controversial song performances personally I'd recommend you'd watch the full tour and react because it is EPIC! But highlights are: Jump, Music Inferno, Hung Up, Live To Tell, Erotica (You Thrill Me), Like a Virgin, Let It Will Be, I Love New York. but seriously I could name all songs!

This was my favorite Madonna concert of all time. This era and this tour was absolutely amazing. Also, the part where she sings 'I'm in love, I'm in love, and I feel love, I feel love' etc, is her paying homage to the late great Queen of Disco, Donna Summer. It's a song from Donna called 'I Feel Love', and Madonna's track 'Future Lovers' has a similar chord progression/beat to it, so she added that to the performance and it was just iconic.

The horse theme came about because a year before she suffered an injury when she was riding her horse. She broke her rib and a collar bone. This was just a couple months before the release of the album confessions on a dance floor. She recovered quickly and then incorporated the experience into the confessions tour with the disco horses. In a later number for Like a Virgin they display x-rays of her broken bones on the screens. Again genius.

The horses are because she fell off a horse and was injured before she released the Confessions on a Dancefloor album. She had three cracked ribs, a broken collarbone and a broken hand from the accident. This was the opening for the tour. You should check out Like A Virgin from this tour because it also has an equestrian theme. Music Inferno is an amazing performance also. The entire tour was one amazing disco!

This was her first tour with Live Nation, I remember signing that contract was news all over the world because it was ambitious in every sense of the word. Like a ten year long contract for three albums and three world tours, not bad for a woman near her fifties in a male dominated industry. This tour was a love letter to the club cuture of the 70s with a very deep personal emotional approach, let's not forget the tour's name was Confessions, so it gets really raw at some points. Super arful and dreamy, the Erotica/You thrill me disco number is a sublime dancefloor fantasy so light and elegant, a pleasure to watch. Music Inferno is also a must watch. Was there in Montreal when the tour came to Canada. The opening was surreal, the lights inside the disco ball illuminated all around her and you can see the millions of light bouncing off the discoball as it opened. shedding light to the audience, that amazing effect can only be seen if you're there. She also had the air condition off so all of us were sweating by the end of the tour.
