My god ... Jane Pauley is TERRIBLE in this interview. She sounds like a bad therapist. It's like she's trying to expose or diminish her in some way but Madonna is unflappably self-assured. Madonna is so intelligent, poised, well-spoken, and self-aware.

What a great interview, Madonna was so nice & elegant & Looked Beautiful as where now in 2023 she wears next to nothing like when she was on jimmy fallon's show on Oct 9, 2021 & she was laying across his desk nothing things to the ground & they had to blur out her ass. I really love the Madonna that's so classy like this interview or when she did interviews during her Ray Of Like Era & Her Evita Era.

One of my fellow pillow biters judging Madonna ( a straight woman) for still freely owning her sexuality and being who she’s always been, is so ironic.Tell us more mother Theresa, any stories from your time in glory holes & bath houses you’d care to share with the class?😮😂

I ' ve always loved Madonna but personally I don' t think she looks her best here, she looks like a grandma , she looks older waaaay beyond her years, the cut and colour of her hair, the thick make up and the dress, I can' t be the only one who thinks this.

I'm a huge Madonna fan but I see what you're saying. I grew up in the 80s and I've found that what was considered "cool" back then doesn't necessarily now. I was watching a clip recently on Instagram from Family Ties (from 1987, same year as this clip) where all of the popular girls were making fun of Jennifer and so many comments were making fun of the way the popular girls were dressed, their shoulder pads, big jewelry, big hair, etc., saying they looked like "40-something moms" when, at the time it was filmed, they actually looked super cool. It's kind of hilarious how styles change over the years. Anyway I just wanted to say that I get where you're coming from. I think she looked great a couple years later in her Like a Prayer phase.
