The Michael Jackson pseudo-fans (I bet it's probably mostly people who became "fans" AFTER June 25, 2009) really ought to stop. MadTV spoofs all celebrities. They make ALL famous people look silly. It's what comedians do. They poke fun at stuff. Not 'cuz they hate him. I'm an MJ fan and I thought this was hilarious then and now. Rumor has it MJ himself might have been involved with this spoof. Wouldn't be surprised, he had a sense of humor. He actually enjoyed some spoofing of himself. :)

A86 I agree. Michael is funny as hell, he has a warm, bright sense of humor. The reason why MJ fans and fangirls get mad when they saw parodies like this is not because he was dead, it's not the reason why, it's just because they are defensive. They are defending Michael Jackson from the evil mainstream media and most of Michael Jackson parodies contains jokes of the false allegations that has brung up by the media mostly and everytime they see that, they get triggered real quick and talking about he didn't do any of this crap, he is the greatest to ever live, he's the sweetest man ever, etc etc. They take everything so personal that is so funnier than the parodies itself. I'm sorry, but if they are true MJ fans, they wouldn't get so triggered by a parody about their idol which is Michael Jackson himself. As a devout MJ fangirl myself, I adore Michael and I think parodies about him are really cute and funny especially the comedic MJ as a character. I love it.

Yeah, and MJ actually had a great sense of humor and was genuinely able to laugh at himself. (Something the world would be much better off if more people could.) He even said in an interview that he found the spoofs of himself funny. MADtv didn't make fun of him because they hated him. He was and still is an icon and celebs and icons get goofed on. MAD pretty much made fun of everyone.
