Good to see Storm riding it. Cant imagine the calamity of James trying to go around on a two wheeled vehicle.

So weird seeing the bosch logo on the rear wheel like that makes you think of an electric drill or something.

That 110kg weight isnt that bad it wont destroy itself if you drop it like some bikes do.

I own one of these puppies and used to own a 50cc Honda, years ago. Both are constrained by the speed limits, more so if you live in central London. Apart from one short section of road, where the speed limit is 50mph, with the rest being 30mph, (in the right setting), I have no fear of speeding fines. This bike is for commuting in a sensible fashion and not for tearing up the roads like a hooligan. Other 125cc bikes, much cheaper, are available should you have the need for speed but to be honest, I'd sooner be late than dead! *** The only complaint that I have about my machine is, the horrible seat, which cannot be changed to an alternate. However, I bought an extra large showercap from from Amazon and now it looks almost perfect. Of course, I remove the showercap when parking, to keep the seat dry for my return. You'll find that it easily stows in the upper battery compartment, where there is much room.

Too posh, unfortunately. Bosche is a robust but uncompetitive choice of drivetrain. This bike is a delight to look at tho. ... Why hasn't anyone tried think of a Sidecar with an extra battery?

We will ask them! That could be very cool. Might need to be a different bike version with a little more power, though.

@@WhichEVStop paying for KZbin views. Also F EVs, such a worthless political scam and hipster thing. Strip mining for cobalt and destroying the environment permanently for short term solutions, and then dumping batteries in the ocean by the megaton is no solution to the fossil fuel madness.

Save pennies on fuel, while losing thousands in depreciation in a year!
@WhichEV15 күн бұрын
On an electric bike? Are you sure? The fastest depreciating car in the UK is actually a petrol-powered BMW 8-series.
@ComeJesusChrist13 күн бұрын
@ That’s not really true. In fact, Autotrader did a list n February this year and the BMW 840i came tenth. There were a couple of Maserati saloons on the list, the rest being all electric, including the DS3 (1st), Vauxhall Corsa Electric (3rd), Nissan Leaf (4th), Vauxhall Mokka Electric (5th), Renault Zoe (7th), DS9 (8th) and the Peugeot e-2008 (9th). You are referring to an Autoexpress article from February that put the BMW 850i on first place but for some reason covered the whole 8 series coupe range, followed by seven EVs, the Maserati Ghibli and the Audi A6 40 in eight and ninth place respectively. When you check Autotrader, these EVs have worse depreciation than what they predicted, which was that they would retain around 25-30% of their original list price after three years. Anyway, both lists included EVs and a few V8 salons/coupes, which are not really the popular and family choices. When the electric Corsa, Fiat 500, Mazda electric Crossover and other popular family cars are predicted to lose £20-30k in 5hree years, that’s quite a concern. No one cares about big V8 saloons’ value, but why are family and small EVs losing so much?! If they’ve done the list now, the Audi e-Teton and the Porsche Taycan may make their ways replacing the Maserati, Audi and BMW saloons and coupe.
@WhichEV12 күн бұрын
@@ComeJesusChrist Autotrader's most recent list had the 8-series top.
@@WhichEV I discussed the article you referred to and I highlighted how no one cares about a V8 BMW Coupe’s depreciation, but how seven other vehicles on that list are small or family-sized EVs. When the few people buy their BMW 850i, they expect steep depreciation, when people buy their electric Corsa, Zoe, Leaf, Fiat 500, Mazda MX-30 and Peugeot e-208, they don’t expect to lose around 70% in three years or so, but that’s what the article you referred to, claims.
