Yeah that's why I selected the 'no' choice in my Final Cut walkthrough, it would've skipped the iconic cutscene. Funny enough Joe mentions he’ll take a “skinny” guy with him (maybe the Mafia 2002 guy wearing the blue suit).

Absolutely I would like to see a mixture of the boardwalk empire and sopranos. BoardWalk empire is a different story to the sopranos, obviously, but it does show how the New Jersey Mob came to be. But I don't want it to be made in a hurry I want detailed mechanics and plenty of open world interaction. I want to feel like I am actually in the Mafia and I can do everything a Mobster would do and I would think we could get the best results for an amazing mafia game by bringing in men like Sammy Gravano,Michael Franzese, and many other reformed gangsters from the past decades with their expertise and real life experience and stories from their childhoods and stories told to them by dead and gone mobsters. It would be the best and most realistic gangster/organized crime game ever made. I would also like a character story option and customisation. For me being from Celtic ancestry I would like to see a possibility of an Irish-American gangster or either formed their own gang/family or joined the Italians as an outsider/associate.

This mod was the best thing I’m glad we got it I thought we would never got this but we deserved it after the glitchy flop mafia 2 definitive edition remaster, the mod is the treatment, I don’t know why but the choices remind me of walking dead season 1 it don’t affect much at the story but the small details and get the freedom to choose what to do is awesome but in mafia fashion

Few People did what the designer studio should do with Definitive Edition, and and all deleted content should be brought back. But they just prefered to do literally nothing, just few graphics update and Thats it, it will be 20$ for the same game. Sad.

Vito not helping Joe means Joe went on to drink his sorrows away in peace and probably passed out not too long after. But more importantly the bartended lives. Damn this game could’ve been even better

Is it possible to port the textures of the Definitive Edition to the classic Mafia 2 because some textures have aged pretty poorly? I know it's not worth to port the models as the models of the Definitive Edition are pretty messed up. I'm just talking about the textures.

That could be interesting for older pc's as well. My laptop has plenty of vram for bigger textures (1GB. The original barely uses 256MB), but it hasn't got the gpu horsepower for the definitive edition. I guess laptops with integrated graphics could use it too

I mean I don’t get why they originally allowed Vito to skip out on free money but it’s an option to say the least (ps I’m not bashing the mod for adding that in but logically it wouldn’t really make sense for Vito to dodge jobs while his family is in debt in 1945 or when him and joe have to pay off Bruno in 1951 as they’d logically be desperate in paying off Bruno)
