Wow I just turned my daughter forward facing after her being rear facing over a year. I thought it was a relatively easy instruction video. The car seat is firmly in place and I am very happy.

Installed per the video. Still have questions. The car seat feels loose. I’m so worried that it’s installed incorrectly and can’t find guidance anywhere.

I did finally get it tight. We don’t use it anymore, though. It lasted about three years, and then I realized the foam in the cushions had just disintegrated, and I felt like it just wasn’t safe. We lived in TX, where temps were really high, and I’m not sure the company contemplated that. But, there was a great thing with their customer service. When I ran over one of the cups (long story), I couldn’t find a replacement anywhere. I called their customer service, and they sent me two new ones.

There is absolutely nothing intuitive about the way this is designed, or the manual is written. I can only imagine how many people have this seat installed incorrectly if they haven't seen this video. Car seat companies need to do a much better job having their engineers design these systems for ordinary people to use. Also, the video never clearly explained how the bottom seat cover was removed to reveal the anchors. The lady in the video simply peels the cover off, mine feels like its epoxied to the seat frame.

I’ve used every curse word I know trying to put this thing together! The video goes way to quick, I can’t simultaneously read and watch the lady do everything. You guys need a solid 5 min tutorial where the person putting it together talks and explains how to do it! The only thing worse is trying to read the manual for this thing, which is only possible if you hire a professional lawyer because it’s super thick and makes no sense!

Wow that looks absolutely awful to try to install. I think I'll stick to my evenflo car seat with the ratchet installation that tightens for you without all those extra steps. Yikes

These instructions are horrible! It would kill you to run a test and see how someone that hasn’t sue the seat before does with these instructions. It was a nightmare to install!
