I think she acted alright. It’s not about “don’t take yourself so seriously”(like some people are saying in the comments), she was disrespected once, she tried to move on (even said she was uncomfortable) and was going to sing something emotional. Maggie was ready to move on with the music. But people keep on talking about her body and her looks and everybody was talking at the same time when all she wanted was to show her music. Maggie was probably overwhelmed and uncomfortable at that point, I would to. Having a crow of people looking at you, screaming at you and watching your every move, while you feel disrespected, that’s probably not easy. Just try to put yourself in other’s people shoes sometimes. We’re all human

Damn. I just had such a visceral response to that. Big ups to her for staying and continuing to talk to the crowd before performing. Sure, audiences have done worse - much worse, in some cases - but that wasn’t cool. She handled it gracefully, respectfully, and with a measure I know I’m too hot headed to maintain in that kind of situation. I hope her words reached as many of the audience members as they needed to - and perhaps the viewers watching it happen afterwards.

So if you went to your kid's school play and it wasn't exciting enough for you, you'd shout at them? Or if your preacher was giving a sermon you didn't care for, you'd shout at them? You did say ANY stage, after all. As long as you aren't compelled to act like a decent, sensible human, anything goes, right? Any sense of distinction is lost on you, it seems, so I hope you stick to baseball games instead of concerts.
