Yes you can make it full screen. Go to your phone on the phone list, select full screen, then it will be full screen when you go back to magic box.

I have the same truck, I’ve been searching and reading a ton of reviews after not being able to find the answer I decided to just buy it and try it myself but just before checking out on the magic box site I came across your video and you answered the one question I had immediately about how much of the screen would be used. Thank you for saving me the hassle of buying then returning this thing..

I ordered the new 2.0 MB and after the first came to me DOA, I was able to test the second one. Still seems kinda slow and wonky IMO. I have the Full Screen update for Apple Carplay and AA but the MB 2.0 still only displays in the smaller window. This is disappointing so I'll most likely be returning the second MB as well. I have a 2021 Raptor.

Good catch. I knew I screwed that up the second it left my mouth but I kept it in the video. Good old RadioShack/Wal-Mart Magic Jack was cool, but not this item, this is Magic BOX. Thanks for keeping me honest!

Ford has a OTA update coming (Ford Power-Up 3.5.3) that adds full-screen CarPlay and Android Auto.

You need to get Forscan for your Ford. It allows you to change the factory settings and you would be able to change your monitor settings

@@frawlll each model of Ford truck is different. You would need to hook up the forscan to your model F-150 and look under the settings for that truck. My truck is a 2018 and your model is one of the newest models

Im interested in knowing more about the little strip you installed. What material is it? And where did you get it? How did you get it to stick?

The link is in the description. The matier is rounded, looks like chrome, I cut it with a scissors, it can bend a bid but is pretty stiff, and it has a flat bottom with double stick tape on it. I got it from Amazon in a roll. I cut the piece to length, used an alcohol prep pad on the surface, and let it alone. Hope this helps!

I don't think so but honestly I haven't tried. I watch my daughter play college basketball in the winter while I wait or otherwise am idle but I do it on an iPad now. I returned my MagicBox. Sorry

Thanks. It really is much more convenient to use this way. I stumbled upon this because I have a high school basketball player and a college basketball player active right now. We sometimes have overlapped times where we are traveling while a daughter is playing and we all want to watch the family members game. This works really well every time where before it was a clumsy mess of multiple little iPhones going at the same time in one vehicle. This works great. Thanks for watching!

Instead of paying the $200 to AT&T couldn't you just enable hotspot on your phone if you have an unlimited plan?

Hotspot would work but it's just another layer. Simple is the goal. On my phone plan from a local carrier when I talk on the phone the data is interrupted. For many, hotspot would work just fine or pay $10/mo for data on the iPad if it is capable. Either way it beats Magic Box. Thanks for watching!

Yes that would be good as well. I bought a used iPad that didn't offer connectivity so that isn't an option for me. That and I was already signed up for the truck WiFi to try the Magic Box option which I ended up returning. The iPad $10 a month would be a great option as well. Thank you!
