I like the idea of a self-healing cutting mat. ONly downside with this one is that it is not magnetic. The Dutch company Vaessen actually came out with a Magnetic Self-healing Cutting mat for their own machine, but it also works in the BigShot, replacing one of the Cutting Plates :)

Interesting. I've never really seen the benefits of the magnetic mats as things still shift but that's probably due to my rough handling rather than the product. 🤣

Nice demo and review. I've been using self healing mats from the works, they seem to work fine, but i've not compared them against this mat

I’ve been using an old Xcut self healing cutting mat for a while. It was an A4 sized mat which I cut the handle off of. It is fine for simple shapes but not quite as good for detailed dies. X

I did notice that they were slightly thicker than other mats I have. The website says they are 3mm thick. Can't say if they are stronger though.
