I've been crocheting for years and have always been in the "I can't figure these things out" and avoid doing them, though I've watched dozens of how-to videos, and was never able to do them. Until your video. I'm so excited, I can finally figure them out, using your single-loop method. Thank you like, a billion times over! It's not pretty and it takes these old fingers of mine some manipulations but, I can actually do it! Thanks so much for this.

Oh my goodness. Where have you been in all the time I have been crocheting?? LOL (okay, it's only been a couple of years since I started! hahaha). I have skipped over patterns that I wanted to try because I couldn't understand the magic circle. Actually, my alternative names were in your list (Pain in the butt, I'm not doing it....) I watch your video and got it on the 2nd try---only because I didn't have the video expanded for the first try and I didn't twist the yarn properly. THANK YOU!! You have opened a whole new world of crochet for me!

I have been watching your videos today and have learned so much, I am 73 years young, have crocheted close to 54 years. I enjoy learning new tricks everyday, there are so many out there. I had to pause as the “names” were scrolling at the beginning of the video. I literally laughed out loud when I saw the “Pain in the butt” “I’m not doing it” and “I don’t wanna” parts scroll by. Thank you so much! The problem I think is that if you don't do the slipstitch this way it's hard to do the magic circle. So what I did first was learn how you did the slipstitch. Remember to take a deep breath and try again. ❤
