Hazezon is on the Reserved List FYI. I've never used Cube Cobra outside of cube, but that's a good idea! You certainly could find additional synergies there. Plus, edhrec can be an echo chamber. Lots of people are running this card with this Commander, therefore everyone sees those cards as popular choices and runs them as well, perpetuating their popularity. As for Cube Cobra, if you ever want to dive into a cube that would be fun. You can draft them and do all sorts of things. if you did, I'd be honored if you checked out my own. @@danielzitnik4247 Thanks. That’s a good point about popularity bias in edhrec. I’m sure I read a data science paper once that talked about those sort of problems in recommendation systems. It may have been called something like “everyone wants a pony”, but I might be misremembering here. I’ll be giving the cube content thing some more thought over the rest of what is left of 2024. I’ve got a bit ahead of myself in the video schedule for this year and have content ready for release for the remainder of the year, including the all important Yuletide ‘lands ahoy’ 21st December video. Getting ahead of myself proved very useful for this year as I was able to keep to my current release schedule and get another project of the ground and hopefully finished by the end of the year. It’s not magic related, but I needed to scratch a creative training material / AI generated / programming code itch without impacting the content on this channel.
