特别好的做馅饼的方法!按照小高姐的一模一样做,薄皮大馅儿,牛肉因为有土豆也不硬,是我们做过最成功的馅儿饼。谢谢小高姐! This recipe simply works, great method! We did exactly the same as she taught, the pancake itself is very thin while the beef filling is chunky and not over-cooked that could have become very hard in texture. This is our most successful attempt to make such kind Chinese style meat-filling pancake. I just have to write in both Chinese and English to say thank you very much!

Helpful tips for first timers: 1. If you can’t find Sichuan peppercorn, use half cardamom half black pepper. The flavor is similar. 2. Make half the recipe. 10 is a LOT. It takes over one and a half hours just to fry them if you do them one at a time. If you do make the full recipe, put the oven on low to keep warm. 3. Don’t fret too much about the thickness of the dough. It may be off balance but the resulting pie will come out ok.
