8:22 I continue to be amazed at this new feature. I promise you wouldn’t have taken this photo in photoshop to separate this couple to make it as dynamic as you just did. The only problem is I’m definitely seeing my editing times increase since the launch of this feature…

@MagicWeddingPhotographer2 жыл бұрын
Hey, you need LR 11.1 or higher to open A7IV files

My masking doesn't give the recompute option, it just copies all masks and places them in the exact spot of that previous pic which is in the wrong spot of the new pic.

Just great, a real pleasure to see! Just a quick question: do you add sharpness to your Sony files (not on export section, during the editing process) ?
@MagicWeddingPhotographer2 жыл бұрын
Thanks! I don't add sharpness at all :)

Magic, I like your videos and photos , bought your preset, and, looks like there is going to be a good learning curve, when I apply your present, I find that the pic is oversaturated and have to do several corrections WB and all kind os other sliders, I was hoping to get more of a 80 90 % with the present, and I am finding that I get 50% and still a lot of work to do, shoot RAW and mostly GM quality glass with the A7RV ....so, it may be the guy behind the camera .....

Can you compare AF speed and accuracy between a7iv and a1? Is it the same on the new a7iv?
@MagicWeddingPhotographer3 жыл бұрын
A1 definitely feels faster. You can definitely tell that the camera is making those 120 af/ae calculations per second. But also the A1 needs to be faster to make sure it can perform at 30fps. With “only” 10 fps on A7IV I haven’t seen that af is “behind” or not following the action enough.

Is there a reason you use smart previews?
@MagicWeddingPhotographer3 жыл бұрын
Yes! It's just way faster to edit with these, and also I have my LR catalog with smart previews on my local ssd, while RAW files are always on external, so I can just work on my photos on the go whenever I have my laptop with me!

Lovely! Just lovely! Amazing work as always. One question though: Are the pics prior to applying your presets totally unedited and straight from the camera - no touches? Wanna know if the shots straight up from the lens look like this or if it's touched up abit prior to applying your presets.
@23desolationjoe2 жыл бұрын
As with nearly all of these preset videos, these photos have clearly been edited before the presets were applied. It would useful to know what you do to achieve the baseline look. This way, the user can achieve a similar look with their photos. Without this knowledge, these presets are not worth much.

Awesome Maciej. I bought your presets when you released them. I used them on my D750. It's cool seeing how you balance colors on Sony files. Quick question, why do you tend to avoid shooting the 35GM wide open, but the 50GM is always at 1.2. What's your thought process about that?? I was really curious. Thanks!
@MagicWeddingPhotographer3 жыл бұрын
Thanks dude! I shoot both of them wide open most of the time, but with 50 I kinda feel that this lens was made to shoot at 1.2 (that’s the reason you get lens like this), and with 35 you can be more creative with aperture deciding how much of a 2nd plan you want to have in the photo.
