Heart disease is the leading cause of death worldwide. But did you know that something as simple as magnesium can have a significant impact on reducing your risk of developing heart disease?
Magnesium is an essential mineral that plays a crucial role in maintaining a healthy heart. It helps regulate heart rhythms, promotes healthy blood pressure levels, and supports overall cardiovascular health. Magnesium also helps to relax the muscles around the arteries, which can improve blood flow and reduce the risk of heart disease.
Studies have shown that a magnesium deficiency can lead to an increased risk of heart disease, arrhythmias, and hypertension. It's important to ensure you're getting enough magnesium in your diet or through supplementation to support your heart health. Good food sources of magnesium include leafy greens, nuts, whole grains, and legumes.

There are several benefits of using magnesium for heart health, including:
1. Regulating heart rhythms
Magnesium helps to regulate the electrical impulses that control heart rhythms, reducing the risk of irregular heartbeats or arrhythmias.
2. Maintaining healthy blood pressure levels
Magnesium can help to relax the muscles around the arteries, which can improve blood flow and lower blood pressure, reducing the risk of heart disease.
3. Supporting overall cardiovascular health
Magnesium is essential for maintaining a healthy heart and supporting overall cardiovascular health.
4. Reducing inflammation
Magnesium has been shown to reduce inflammation in the body, which can help to reduce the risk of heart disease.
5. Improving insulin sensitivity
Magnesium can help to improve insulin sensitivity, which can help to prevent diabetes, a risk factor for heart disease.
6. Reducing the risk of blood clots
Magnesium can help to prevent the formation of blood clots, which can lead to heart attacks or strokes.
Magnesium is an essential mineral that plays a crucial role in maintaining a healthy heart and reducing the risk of heart disease.

Wonderful video, thank you for the information! Magnesium with taurine is recommended by York cardiology here on You Tube. This cardiologist also recognizes that magnesium supplements can reduce the incidence and frequency of arrhythmias or palpitations. I take it and have seen a significant reduction in my palpitations.

As for me, my heart was diagnosed with medium blockage in the LAD (Widow Maker Artery) My cardiologist highly recommended t me to be on the safe side to have it chcked via angiogram. I did, and my doctor decided to have it stented. Since then, I have stayed away from junk foods, and take magnesium citrate on a regular basis. I plan to upgrade to magnesium 7 soon though. However, with magnesium I also consume zinc because I have read that magnesium defends on zinc to be the most beneficial. I also consume at 10,000 IUs of vitamin D3 alongside K2-MK7 because I read that those two work great to keep the calcium out of the arteries.

Hi Louis, It's great to hear that you're taking proactive steps to manage your heart health. Having a stent placed in your LAD is a significant step towards reducing your risk of heart attack. Your focus on healthy lifestyle choices, including avoiding junk food and taking magnesium citrate, is commendable. Magnesium plays a crucial role in heart health, and combining it with vitamin D and K2 can be beneficial.

Great question! Yes, I’m referring to 400-800mg of elemental magnesium. It’s always best to check the label to make sure you’re getting the right amount. Thanks for pointing that out!

I get my magnesium from my food. I have my PC doctor check my vitamin and mineral levels. We found out what I needed so I don't over supplement myself. We don't assume anything. Secondly, I am someone who is very sensitive even to magnesium. I can not take just any kind. My cardiologist said no herbs. He did approve of vitamin and mineral as needed.

What does it mean when you take magnesium and you get muscle cramps?
@NaturalHealthResources
@NaturalHealthResources Жыл бұрын
One possible reason for the lack of effectiveness on cramps in the magnesium studies is the complex relationship between magnesium and other basic nutrients. For example, calcium and potassium are also involved in muscle cramping.

IDK how I feel about this video and info given. Vitamin K2 is the one that prevents soft tissue calcifications in your joints and arteries. Meaning, it prevents arthritis and heart attacks/strokes. Cal and Mag compete for absorption. Taking D causes us to absorb Cal 20x more than regular so k2 is super important to direct that cal to the bones and keep it out of our soft tissues. With that said, Mag and K2 both are 2 of Ds co factors that must be taken with D as taking D will lower your mag levels and mag is super important in ALL cells of our body. There are 9 forms of mag...not 7.

I would like to know how to test magnesium.
@NaturalHealthResources
@NaturalHealthResources Жыл бұрын
A blood test is the most common way to find out your magnesium level. You may hear the term “total serum magnesium test.” The magnesium blood test is like other blood tests you may have had. A nurse or other health worker will clean your skin, insert a needle into a vein in your arm or hand, and take a sample of blood.

Whole grains and dark-green, leafy vegetables are good sources of magnesium. Low-fat milk and yogurt contain magnesium as well. ... Dried beans and legumes (such as soybeans, baked beans, lentils, and peanuts) and nuts (such as almonds and cashews) provide magnesium.
