I like the statement Suleyman made to Hurrem even then best of them all: "No one will hurt you Hurrem, not even myself!" Right Suleyman, Sure you won't hurt her in the future not at all!! Then the next minute treating her like a piece of refuge, going back on that promise and ostracising and exiling her to Allah know where for months or years ignoring her the whole time! I He could be so loving at times then other times he could be such a hypocritical idiot at other times!! IT'S GOOD TO BE AN KING!!!!

Suleyman said I right Hurrem was his strength and power as she always had his back no matter what he did to her. She remained loyal. She always tried to show Suleyman the real faces of those who surrounded him - Ibrahim, Mahidevran, the Valide, Hatice, Mustafa and later on his vile sisters Shah Huban and Fatma. They loved and cared more about Mustafa than they did their own brother. I firmly believe if Hurrem wasn't there, they would have deposed Suleyman to put Mustafa on the throne.

Everyone keeps forgetting the quote Ibrahim made about how all his subjects will someday kneel before his statues. Suleyman will never forget that moment or when Ibrahim lost to his ego and started having idols made of himself. Ibrahim has let greed to get him one too many times. He is constantly torn between his greed for power and his loyalty to Suleyman. He betrayed Suleyman's sister, and didn't just have a one time affair but had a second life with Nigar, complete with a home he bought for her. Normally, someone who crosses royalty like that would've been beheaded a long time ago. Emotions are easy feign and to get wrapped up in but the reality of someone's actions and words have far more value than meaningless tears.

i used to say hurrem and ibrahim are cut of the same cloth but if i now have to choose the worst of them? it'd definitely be hurrem. despite his hostility with hurrem, ibrahim never tried to kill her even once by his own will, the one time he did it because valide ordered him to. he knew how precious she was to suleiman and he could never bear to watch suleiman hurt. but hurrem, from the very beginning, has tried to have ibrahim killed. poisoned him, had him almost shot with a poisonous arrow, this one and additionally constantly pitted suleiman against him. she never really cared about what suleiman would go through if he lost ibrahim. she didnt give two flying effs about it, she thought she could replace ibrahim's place in suleiman's life infact she intended to do so from the very first day. even ibrahim could've assumed that suleiman would eventually get over hurrem's absence after dispensing her, like hurrem but that man never did. he put forward his worry and affection for suleiman over his hostility with hurrem, even when he had the power and chance to kill hurrem multiple times. hurrem was one narcissist woman, she claimed to love suleiman but not entirely. even after openly declaring a war with her, he didnt want to kill her but that psychotic woman didn't think twice before setting this trap

The Sultan was paranoid long before Hürrem. His own father tried to poison him. Ruling the Ottoman Empire was fueled by paranoia and hype vigilance. Yes, they had wealth but they lived in constant fear. Then look at Hürrem’s life. Kidnapped, sold into slavery, scratching and clawing her way through life in a Harem with different customs, religion, language…. I think she did remarkably well.

I think if nothing everyone can deduce that Hurrem’s love for Suleiman is unmatched both in history and this drama - her love for him is indisputable.
