I find it amazing how these girls all knowingly choose their predisessors. She kept everyone quiet about her husband’s death until her son come to the city. She is the first (and I guess the only) women to be buried in the emperor’s tomb. She maintained peace with Venice and France. Ambassadors mentioned her as a powerful queen in their letters. She died naturally when she get old. The emperor himself joined her funurel and carried her coffin. Safiye’s name wasn’t even known before her death.
