@@joshualogan6655 well, if I remember correctly, Dubov's rook was attacked on G4 so he moved his knight to attack Carlsen's queen as an in-between move, but Carlsen didn't move his queen, instead he just captured the knight with his rook. And after Dubov recaptured, Carlsen took a full rook on G4 with his knight. Can't remember the exact square Dubov put his knight, but that's the main gist of it. So yeah, technically he's down a whole knight, so you're right I suppose

Really? I'm no expert but top Grandmasters like Vidit Gujarathi, Anish Giri, Peter Leko were shocked immediately after the queen move was made. The reaction was very quick they didn't see the engine. To grandmasters the mating pattern was probably very obvious. The commentators are top players from England. GM David Howell- 3 times British Champion. WGM/IM Jovanka Houshka- 9 tile winner of British Women's chess.

The root cause for carlsen defeat is: he failed to castle and that second was locked inside useless till the end. And this failure of making castle makes balck king was forced out to middle of the board and thus mated

You probably already know by now but just in case: 00:27 because the black King can just take the H pawn. And 01:43, because that pawn is pinned by the white rook and thus cannot move. (your king cannot be in check by the end of your own turn)
