I know it’s recommended to receive guidance from a qualified teacher for these practices but I don’t have access to any teachers and I’ve been practicing tsa lung using Tenzin Wangyal Rinpoche’s book and I feel very good results. I wonder if the same would apply to tummo. Can someone practice it with a book and get good results ?

You can have some very positive results for your health etc. even if you just apply these techniques only using materials in this book but... in order to attain the ultimate spiritual benefit which can lead to the realization of ultimate Buddha-Nature, one must have all the necessary transmissions such as lung-authorisation and wang-empowerment as well as thri-explanation from a qualified Bonpo lama.
