I love my 3016. It is an HST, 2013 model. I have gotten in the habit of locking out the clutch every time I put it away but I use it regularly so it is not an issue if I forget. I enjoy your videos. Keep 'em coming!

You can buy an aftermarket skid steer quick attachment adapter I’ve seen them online. My 3016 has the quick attachment loader. And I didn’t know about the clutch until I watched your video.

If you are willing to give up about 50 or so pounds of lift capacity on your FEL, you can add a SSQA to your tractor. Several places make these kits. Depending on the popularity of your loader, you may be able to find a ‘bolt-on’ adapter. The issue will be your bucket. You will either have to mount (weld) a plate to the bucket or locate a bucket that is QA ready in the correct size for your tractor/loader.

The clutch issue is not uncommon to many tractors. It can be a pain if you fail to engage the latch. I understand it has to do with moisture between the clutch plate and flywheel. Therefore you need to engage the latch to keep the clutch pedal depressed to keep the clutch plate disengaged. If you forget (or get help from someone else, yes both have happened to me) you can break it loose. Sometimes by driving around with the clutch pedal depressed or connect a brush cutter and run the tractor and brush cutter with the clutch pedal depressed.

I don't believe so...this is just specific to the 3016. My father in law has a newer, and bigger Mahindra that is shuttle shift and he doesn't have to latch his clutch so my guess is its something with the design on the 3016. Thanks for stopping by!! 👍

I have a 2013 3016 Hydro Loader backhoe and I have not had one problem with it and they are a strong little Tractor Mine has the R1 tires and I also have a RK55 Loader Backhoe with R4 tires and I dont like the R4 tires at all the lift cap on the 3016 is 1600 LB but you got to take off 350 LB for the front bucket My 3016 has the quick attach but the 3016 is a great tractor Good Video !!!

You can get an adapter to retrofit the loader for a QA. You’d have to convert your bucket top though.

Nice tractor, i own the 1526 shuttle. Love hanks videos and followed over from his comparison to yours. Have you had issues with the clutch? Mine sits for weeks sometimes and never have had an issue. I have a few videos of mine and more coming soon.

You can add the quick attach system to that tractor so you can spend more money on implements haha and keep up with Hank that would be a good investment I also noticed it did not have a grill guard

I failed to get a quick attachment bucket on my 2013 Mahindra Max 28xl HST (28 hp) with loader and backhoe. So I added a grapple to my loader bucket. I also purchased clamp-on pallet forks. I love this tractor. I've cleared several acres of heavily wooded with vines. I'm in the process of digging a 220 ft long 1 ft wide x 2 ft deep ditch. I also have bush hog, finish mower, landscape rake, box blade and disc.

I have the Mahindra 1626 and use it every day so don't use the clutch latch. Have experienced no problems. Love the tractor.

I have a 2011 3016 with 700 hours on it does everything I'm asked to do. The one I have came with quick attach. I have forks, a hitch plate and a snow plow. Wish it had 3rd hydraulic control, and I don't like the fuel neck , it's a pain to put fuel in with a tank pump. You get the knife when baught your tractor ?

My concern with getting a bigger tractor like the 4540 or any larger tractor is how much higher you sit vs this 3016 that sits quite a bit lower. However, the larger tractors are wider with wider tires so i don't know if makes much of a difference??

It's a good concern to have but also with the bigger tractor you have more weight. No matter what size tractor, it's always smart to be aware of any chance of rollover. I always like to err on the side of caution.
