G'day mate and thanks for watching. Yeah I miss the bush, I grew up in country like that. I spent most of my childhood driving tractors and pulling logs through bushland out there. So I had no doubt that the mahindra would do just as good of a job as the old hj45 landcruiser that I used out they years ago.

Thanks mate. Like every vehicle manufacturer, they have there good reports and there bad ones. Our Colorado had its fair share of recalls, just like my mates hilux, triton, Ranger and Navara. To be absolutely honest with you, I don't think it would have done aye better. The ground was so loose. Even with diff lock the mahindra struggled to get any traction, and I think even with mud tyres the cruiser would have just dug bigger holes. It was just to steep and loose. My brother used to drag timber through there with a dozer or his skidder. Thanks for watching mate 👍

Got a question for you, is the rear locker an auto or manual locker? How do you find it performs? On a side note please keep the young fella and everyone away from the winch rope while winching, would hate to see anyone get badly hurt if the rope snaps.

What’s your thoughts on the mahindras carrying capacity? Does the chassis flex much if you put much weight on it? I’m asking this as I wanted to get a work ute. Single cab but it’s going to have close to constant weight of 700kgs. Thanks! Can’t wait to see more vids :)
@grahamharris4wdadventures532 жыл бұрын
G'day mate and thanks for watching. In single cab form it would be more than capable. I would definitely throw some better suspension under it as the standard stuff is more set up for comfort then actual weight carrying. But the chassis is built strong and is definitely capable.

G'day mate. It's what we call wallum country. It's where the water table sits just below the surface in large pockets. You can be driving along, and then just punch straight through the surface in to the water saturated ground underneath. It can be really deep, and sometimes you literally have to wait for the ground to dry up before you can attempt to get out. And then can take weeks. On the way out of that paddock we were sinking 4 inches through the actual wheel tracks we made going in there! We only just made it out to the main track.
