EV is not environment friendly. Where will be the batteries go once its life time is over? It will produce soil pollution. Hydrogen is the only environment friendly solution available till now.

Batteries should be a buy back by car companies / batteries manufacturing companies , scrab batteries already have some decent price in local market itself, government should monitor manufacturer to go for buy back scrab batteries based on environment tax recycling ( tax should refund based on buy back)

while driving at 120kmph, the battery range should be 1000km; the battery charging time should be 15 mins max. apart from that govt should change the electric bill tariff. only when these things happen, people will started believing on ev s. do remember, charging stations are playing major role on ev usage at developed countries; that infrastructure is very important for us to move further on ev history. when we are riding at ghat regions, a range of 500km will become 280-300km easily and that won't work practically. a simple and practical example is, when I am travelling from bangalore to madurai (distance of ~450kms) I am getting 12.5kmpl and while on otherwise travel, from madurai to bangalore, I am getting 10.3kmpl due to slope roads. so, here practically a 500km range would not help me for my long travel. while considering todays traffic, for commuting people will prefer small vehicles or 2 wheelers. tata nano sized ev s would be well suitable for our city traffic condition. apart from that, I like xuv750 so much, but I felt still it is not affordable for me..! :(

people who claimed ev is bad for the environment, need to understand there is no better option to reduce pollution. The battery is recyclable and it gets better with ongoing research and development(with Adaptation R&D will be fasted), electricity can be produced in a renewable way (solar, wind, tidel,etc.), and crude oil is mined, transported, processed, transported, retailed, and then burned to run the vehicle; and in all these stages CO2 and other pollutants/pollution are produced/made.
