9:26 both the engines are turbocharged, no NA petrol engine is there. You guys are showing one of the petrol engine as NA. It is turbocharged, the difference is in fuel injection.
@vikrantsingh69165 ай бұрын
You are correct. Both petrol engines are turbocharged. And the one we have here uses direct injection.
@Sandychocky55005 ай бұрын
Actually both have same fuel injection system, but both are different in the way the fuel is delivered into the combustion chamber. One is MPFI Turbo charged, other one is GDI Direct injection Turbo charged. 🤝🤝🤝👍👍👍

The XUV300 did not fail. That is a misleading statement. It did anywhere between 4k-6k a month. That certainly did not set the charts on fire, but it is a decent number, far from a failure.
@prathameshkhule59005 ай бұрын
Exactly though it has been 4-5 yrs after the launch , it was still selling 4.5 k monthly which I feel is a Great number tbh ...!
@Abhilash29915 ай бұрын
Yes, I do agree, XUV300 was having decent numbers & never a failure!!
@vikrantsingh69165 ай бұрын
Agreed. It didn't do as poorly as the other Mahindras in the sub-4m category. But success and failure is relative. For a brand like Mahindra which is in the numbers game, selling 2-3k units where the category is bigger than 100,000 units a month isn't success. At least as we view it.

@nikhilvijay60225 ай бұрын
Even I am confused in the same. Thinking whether or not the extra power & torque worth it.
@vikrantsingh69165 ай бұрын
For city use, the extra power won't make that much of a difference. Especially when you consider our experience of the pronounces turbo lag on the direct injection version under 2000 rpm.
@adityapatnaik58145 ай бұрын
Exactly the same question, I am completely confused for the engine
@ronztinz3 ай бұрын
TCMPFI is an excellent engine. I have taken a test drive of the same. 110PS might not sound much but Mahindra tunes engines extremely aggressive. I own the TGDI though and 90% of the times there's not enough chance to actually use that power. TCMPI can cruise at 120 all day so it's an excellent engine. TGDI to me is actually the engine if you want frequent high speed highway cruise and still get good mileage because of the direct injection. Rest for normal use, TCMPI is perfect.

And what about Level 2 ADAS? Does it work in the manual transmission version of a car? How can emergency brakes work if the clutch isn't engaged automatically because it's manual? Even if the tires might stop spinning because of disc brakes, wouldn't it damage the differentials, power transmission, and engine
