His regen, as shown multiple times, allows him to regenerate from scattered blood particles, and unless your blast can do so (big blast won't do that), you cannot beat him. Adaptation does not matter, it only helps him become immune to the attacks and during the process of adapting, makes him more resistant to the techniques he's being hit with. Anime is canon as well, and is merely a manga adaptation, and is not stated anywhere to be a separate canon, so we can take anime feats as manga feats and vice-versa.

First of all, the list has some reasonable points but basing on the usefulness of the shikigami and its POWER individually, Mahoraga takes this in a CLOSE edge, why? For me, Rika isn't even the strongest, she just has that utility in her, but she's not that powerful unlike when she was a cursed spirit, and she's only available for 5 MINUTES, she's only usable for 5 whole minutes, and that 5 minutes can turn into 1 if the enemy opens a DE and cancels "Copy". Mahoraga is a shikigami that is available all the time, and everytime for the user, though yes it needs quite the cursed energy to summon, a tamed mahoraga is on par with some of the hard hitters in the series and is already quite powerful on it's own on base. Mahoraga, and Rika's power doesn't come close to Garuda though, the hardest hitting shikigami in the series, with a defensive capability so high, and an offensive ability capable of one shottinga absolutely anyone its bs, it can also fly, it is VERY flexible too. Judge man is only strong depending on the enemy, and it can only be used on a DE, it can be negated by an anti-DE, and of course Higuruma's DE can be destroyed too. 1. Mahoraga 2. Garuda 3. Rika Putting Maho above Garuda is hard since in base theoretically Garuda should one shot Mahoraga, but it depends on their user It's close but Maho takes this, but it can be a tie if Yuki just orders Garuda to turn into a blackhoke. If this really includes the User of the Shikigami, Rika might be top 2, but Yuki and Yuta are one of the most relative individuals based on power so... Still, Maho should be the strongest as Sukuna is literally the user of that thing.

Tbh yeah Rika is a lot better than Mahoraga in every way But if we think about it in terms of fighting capabilities due to copy existing and Rika's cursed tool arsenal if she cant defeat him through yuta's copy or her own latent abilities she can move on to cursed items as well as yuta and Rika's DE being a hard Mahoraga counter In the end Mahoraga and Sukuna had no real synergy and lost to gojo until plot kicked in whereas Yuta and Rika alone are formidable opponents and have so much synergy that just boost their overall power (I mean Rika and Yuta fended off an uzumaki at essentially lvl 1 compared to current yuta who 1 v 3ed three high level threats with minimal effort only needing Rika twice but still winning with and without her)

To know how to beat Mahoraga you firstly need to learn who he is, or better said what his ability is and while yes Yuta is smart he would still take some time before he realizes that he needs a one shot, Mahoraga would become to strong by than. Also Mahoraga from the start can one shot Rika, if Yuta doesn't know about everything that Mahoraga can do than he would get instantly nerfed, Yuta without Rika has no chance because he doesn't have anything in his arsenal that can one shot Mahoraga exept the love beam and he needs a lot of prep time before he could use it, so he eather runs away far enough to have enough time to charge up before Mahoraga gets there or he risks loseing Rika and his only chance. Other than Rika there is no shikigami that can come even close to Mahoraga and Yuta can only win if he has prep time which at that point you should give Mahoraga prep time too to make it fair, so Mahoraga should have an adaptation agains curse energy or at least the love beam even if just a weak one (Mahoraga doesn't stop adapting to a technic after he got an adaptation, he constantly improves it until he can get an adaptation capable to make that technic inexistent).

I mean, I could totally see Rika being able to one-tap Mahoraga. However, we don't know how truly powerful the love blast was. Geto used over 4000 curses for his Uzumaki but still survived. Then later down the line, it was confirmed that Geto didn't use all of his cursed spirits. Call that a Minimum Uzumaki. So until we get actual, like, power scaling, I would put Mahoraga on #1. Mahorage has NO limit to the amount of adaptations. The 8 handles only show the progress of the adaptations. For Mahoraga to adapt to a infinite concept, it took him 5 turns. And infinity being the pinnacle of known scenarios, nothing else could strain the spins required for a single adaptation to more than 5.

There is no "main target" for things that are aimed in a straight line like a beam. Pure Love Beam hit Geto as hard as it did the maximum uzumaki. Hollow Purple would tear through both targets Flame Arrow is aimable and has the highest destructive rate of all 3 of these, completely incinerating a large part of shibuya and turning it into a large crater.

It unclear exactly which she is but she is referred to as a Shikigami after volume 0 (for instance in Sendai). The Jujutsu Kaisen fandom page also refer to Rika as a Shikigami but this is obviously less reliable than information provided within the story. Before i even watch the video, i have a strong feeling he's going to say Rika is a shikigami and put her above mahoraga. Edit: i was right Before i get into the debate of Mahoraga vs Rika I'm going to speak on the issue of including Rika in a list like this. Rika is not a shikigami, she is a cursed spirit. The distinction between the two has been done to death in both JJK 0, the hidden inventory arc and the main series. Shikigami =/= Cursed spirit and Cursed spirit =/= shikigami they are two completely different things. Mahoraga wasn't some crazy guy who died one day and then became the elden ring boss we know and love today, he along with every shikigami in the series was literally just born that way. Rika is a person who died and became a cursed spirit that latched onto Yuta. She pops out whenever she wants (usually when Yuta wants to kill something or she gets jealous of a female interacting with him) and has a personality of her own. Second... why would that be a problem for Sukuna and Gojo being the only sorcerers able to one shot Mahoraga? It's already established that the previous ten shadows user used Mahoraga to tie with the previous clan head of the Gojo family and Sukuna is the strongest sorcerer in history. It's also said that no sorcerer has ever been able to tame Mahoraga (other than sukuna). Going off of the lore of the shikigami itself it would make perfect sense for why those two would be the only ones able to actually take down and one shot Mahoraga. Explain how this doesn't make any sense. Also if the love beam at full power would be enough to one shot Mahoraga that would mean that it would have to be stronger than 15 finger Sukuna domain expansion nuke that took out Shibuya and at least as strong as the Fuga + Domain Sukuna used to actually beat Mahoraga or as powerful as the maximum purple nuke Gojo used to kill Mahoraga. There is no chance in hell that the love beam is anywhere close to these attacks in power or output binding vow or not. If it could, Yuta would have definitely used it in his battle with Sukuna in the manga.

Rika is still very distinct from a cursed spirit. She doesn't have a soul and cursed spirits do, and it just so happened to be that when Yuta uses Dhruv's technique his hair acts as a medium that allows shikigamis in the appearance of Rika to manifest, must be a coincidence. If anything she's more of an hybrid. Because lore doesn't help against feats. Since you've included Shibuya Mahoraga's feats then I can use it as an example to show that there are indeed characters who can destroy that Mahoraga. Mahoraga in Shibuya could not tank any of the dismantles Sukuna threw even mid adaptation as they were going through him, it was only after that Mahoraga began to adapt to the overall phenomena of slashing that he began to tank them. Then there's Ryu who could tank Sukuna's dismantle at point blank range, that Ryu could injure with his Granite blast characters who are durable as him which is Yuta and Rika. What doesn't make sense is to say Ryu, and Yuta with Rika wouldn't be able to destroy Mahoraga inside of their domains and Ryu potentially even outside of it, considering the fact that Mahoraga pre adaptation doesn't even use CE to reinforce himself. All of those examples of yours are really all about Mahoraga after sessions of adaptations. Fuga, DE, and UHP all were an overkill. If Sukuna truly wanted to end the fight quickly then using Cleave would've done the job as stated the narrator. And about Gojo's purple even Mahoraga wheel got destroyed which Sukuna's Fuga at 15F couldn't do so it's clear that it was an overkill, but just for additional evidence, Sukuna himself feared that Mahoraga would get destroyed from a normal output Red.

Rika is referred to as a curse by Yuta, Gojo, and literally everyone in his class and outside of it. Why? Because it's a curse, a very special curse but not a hybrid between curse and shikigami. However if you could find something, perhaps a chapter or a clip of something that has Rika being implied to be a shikigami that would be amazing. Also Geto's plan for Yuta revolved around killing him to control Rika using his cursed technique which controls... Cursed spirits and specifically does not work on shikigami as shown in the hidden inventory arc where Geto does not just steal the shikigami of the shikigami user, nor does Kenjaku show any interest in Mahoraga despite definitely knowing about it. And before you begin to theorize, no vengeful cursed spirits is not a term for hybrids like death paintings are. Naoya becomes a vengeful curse spirit after his death and is not bound to a human. Rika may have been made from love but the two of them share the same classification just like how a cursed spirit born from the fear of volcanos is still a cursed spirit just like one born from the fear of the forest.
